We are going to agree with the latest reviews on Google here that this hotel doesn't seem to be moving in the right direction. ||Our stay started off poorly with an unwillingness to help make it right when our travel agency miscommunicated our early arrival. We had to wait nearly 3 hours for our room to be ready, and watched as the cleaning happened at a snails pace. There was no willingness from the front desk to help speed things along.... Yes we were early, but any other hotel would have done their best to get us in as soon as they could. Not here.||Then there was the room. We stayed in the room with a loft. Plenty of room yes, but there were all these little details that were missing. There was no closet anywhere, a piece of furniture tried to take it's place, but no where to hang anything but baby sized clothes. The AC worked but juuuust barely for the room, had it been any hotter we'd have been uncomfortable. The loft never got much air and was much hotter than the room. The stairs to the loft were nice looking, until you noticed this weird particle board with a screw sticking out at the end, because there was no rail there to protect small children from falling. Then there was the bathroom... A toilet too low to the ground, that rocked, and that wouldn't flush for the life of us if anyone did #2 in it. The shower had a weird tiled tub that was really odd. Missing trim at the bottom just removed due to rot. The window had no working lock, and wasn't sealed allowing mosquitoes in. The counter way too low because they had raised bowl style sinks. No air circulation in the bathroom so it would fog up like crazy on every shower. ||Then there's the uncomfortable feeling of reception that leaves you in the hotel, by yourself, at 5pm. If anything happens, it feels like your on your own... We didn't realize until halfway through our trip that you could call the restaurant next door for help if you needed it (like a stuck toilet).||Our suggestion... And a strong one. Take some time and fix up the rooms. Fix the little things like what we have mentioned here. Talk to your staff about taking care of the customer. At offer to do all you can even if you can't do much. It goes along way. Unfortunately for us, it was death by a thousand cuts. For the same money, you can stay nearby at the high end resort and get better service for the same cost. Spend your...

Read moreMy wife and stayed in the hotel on Valentines day, a little disappointing.
Internet is pretty bad, they have smart TV's but could not watch Apple TV on it, it kept freezing, ended up watching 1/2 of the program on my cell phone using mobile data.
No passkey locks on the doors to the parking area nor on the terrazza, had to walk around to the front door, in the rain (well mist)
Weird electrical issues, my wife was trying to put her makeup on before dinner but the two lights over the mirrors were not working, the recessed lights in the ceiling were ok but the bathroom was pretty dark, in the morning, the lights worked.
Air conditioning was on when we arrived, turned it off but then it was not possible to turn it back on.
Horrible coffee in the coffee maker (and in the Rock restaurant next door), one would think that given the good reputation for coffee in Boquete, the hotel and restaurant would serve something decent.
Reception is quoted in the welcome letter as being from 7am to 9pm. After 5PM the reception was closed and not a soul around..
No coffee creamer in the room
Bathtub drains really slowly.
This is only the second time we have stayed here, the first time was prior to Covid, the place has really gone downhill, next time we will look for something...
