A few homely touches like a mini fridge or beds that are actually what they are advertised to be....would have gone a long way. My recent stay at the Santuario Ecolodge was excellent -- from the extraordinary hospitality of hosts Sol and Darren, to the cleanliness and comfort of the casita, to the exceptional location of the lodge itself with its unobstructed views of Boquete's Barú volcano. The four-hands massage is a MUST! Erika and Virginia were professional, friendly, and gave me the best massage I've ever had.
We live in Alto Quiel, so we only came down for the massage, but the lodges looked cozy, the grounds are well-maintained and covered with beautiful flowers and plants. The common area was a very peaceful place to relax while my husband enjoyed his massage.
I can't wait to return for another massage. We may even make a weekend out of it and stay in one...
