This hotel is very basic, but clean and comfortable. Although the staff could not speak English (and why should they given the fact we were in Peru), we were able to communicate with basic Spanish, as well as, using WhatsApp to translate any more complicated needs. In addition, they were able to arrange to have some of our laundry done, which came back spotless and all for only $8.00. The hotel is also located only 3 blocks off the main square and within walking distance of all the major sights of Cajamarca. Do note that if you want a bit more quiet, you will need to request a room at the interior of the hotel. Anything on the street side is pretty noisy up until about 10ish (as are all city streets in Peru). The included breakfast was simple - scrambled eggs with ham, juice, coffee/tea, bread, butter and jelly - but more than enough to jump start the day. Overall, we would highly recommend given the price, comfort,...
