Our recent five-night stay at Andenia was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that truly made it feel like a home away from home.

Prior to arriving, I fell ill, and the hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and well-being. They provided special meals tailored to my needs and were incredibly attentive, making sure I had everything I needed to recuperate. Their care and attention during this time were truly remarkable and made a challenging situation much more manageable.

The location of Andenia is simply stunning, offering breathtaking views that never failed to impress. Whether we were relaxing in the hot tub or enjoying wine on the patio, we were surrounded by the natural beauty of the grounds.

The service at the hotel was top-notch, with every staff member going out of their way to ensure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. From restaurant recommendations to arranging transportation, they were always ready to assist with a smile.

In hindsight, we only wished we could have extended our stay at Andenia. It truly exceeded all of our expectations, and we left with fond memories that will last a lifetime.

Andenia is a rare gem that deserves recognition for its exceptional service, stunning location, and delicious cuisine. We don't typically write reviews, but our experience at this hotel was so extraordinary that we felt compelled to share it with others. If you're looking for a memorable and truly enjoyable getaway, look no further...

A peaceful and stunning gem in the sacred valley! We were absolutely floored by the beauty of the location and the gardens. Every pathway was bursting with beautiful flowers, and the impressive mountains rising above you from every angle. We spent 3 nights here and were so sad to leave.

The rooms have a wabi sabi aesthetic — very minimal with natural textures and colors. Perfect for the location, as it lets the natural beauty take the spotlight! The beds were so comfy… we had the best sleep of our trip at Andenia.

The food was excellent — we were able to try every item on the menu! I actually loved that it was a smaller menu because it showed that they keep things as local as possible. So much of the menu is grown in the gardens on the hotel grounds… from the salads to the tea. Even the beer comes from a small business down the street! Do not miss out on the pasta, trout burger, or the lomo saltado. Or the amazing avocado toast with eggs for breakfast!

The staff was also absolutely wonderful. Karel and Camilla took such great care of us, and were great to chat with during our stay. They even organized a taxi tour of the valley for us, and had excellent recommendations for lunch! We’ll definitely be staying here again when we come...

WE LOVED THIS HOTEL! 10/10. It's a must-stay. The grounds are so beautiful, and the staff is so incredibly lovely! The women who run the front desk helped us book everything, and I mean everything! Before we arrived we booked transport to and from the airport, day excursions, a mountain biking trip, and massages. They helped connect us to the company that we used for Machu Picchu. They also helped us book dinner reservations in a nearby town and secure transportation. The place is kind of in the middle of nowhere, but that's why it's amazing. You need to take a car most places, but we found it all very affordable. We highly recommend going to the Pisac ruins and then doing the 2-3 hour hike down and checking out the artisanal market. The massages were divine. The FOOD WAS GREAT. Yummy breakfast. The complimentary bonfire was so romantic and fun. We enjoyed taking a dip in the spa pools after a long hike. The only thing I'd say is the walls are thin, so if you're a light sleeper I'd bring earplugs or a...

(Apologies for only remembering to take photos of the food 😅) Andenia is a pleasant property. Rooms had an uncluttered aesthetic, which we liked. The space heaters kept the bedside warm, but it would have been better with central heating that extended to the bath area. Wifi wasn’t the strongest; it would drop while sitting in the toilet (haha I like to read news while in the toilet, what can I say?) The lady serving us at the restaurant was exceptional, but management was always slightly awkward. (Hanging around the property gardens on their laptops, I was never sure if I should approach them for fear of interrupting serious work) Despite not being in an urban area, there’s a pretty good nikkei restaurant right beside the hotel. But when it’s closed, you’re stuck with the hotel restaurant. For that reason, I recommend that they increase the selection of dishes. We were repeating orders by the end (more lomo saltado, anyone?). The carpaccio was frozen solid when served, so food standards could be increased too.

LOVED our stay at Andenia. This was a perfect stay for my husband and me after completing the Inca Trail / Macchu Picchu and needed a spot to relax in the Sacred Valley. I liked how this hotel was out of the hustle of Urubamba, but still a very short drive away to different attractions. The property is so beautiful, full of lush gardens and fruit trees. I loved the design and natural tones and texture throughout the aesthetic. The morning breakfasts and Friday night music were amazing!  Cocktails and ceviche on the menu were great too. The hotel organized our shuttles, massage to the room, and helped plan a special birthday evening too. If you're in the area, I highly recommend doing a day pass/service to the Tambo del Inka Spa + checking out the Salt Mines. BIG shoutout to Leo and Camila who were incredibly helpful and welcoming [and the whole team was amazing too]. I miss the hotel and people there already!
