The perfect place to unplug, unwind and listen to your soul nestled in the mountains. My partner and I stayed here for a week and half on retreat. Awa Lodge is the perfect place to setup basecamp to rest or explore. Carlos and Milenka make you feel right at home. They treat you like family and are always willing to help out with any plans. Milenka cooked the most delicious meals. At one point, we were craving Vietnamese Pho and Milenka whipped us up some nourishing pho by whipping up her redition after googling the recipe and up watching some youtube videos. Carlos always appeared when you needed him to help plan, fix or organize basically anything and everything Jorge, the property manager, was a big brother that made sure that you were safe and taken care of. This is a very special place located in Huaran. Its a brand new facility in a quiet and beautiful area in the Sacred Valley in Peru. It's run by a delightful couple who recently relocated from Lima. They have thought of every detail in both the construction and design as well as the service. ||||Milenka had an event planning and catering business in Lima and she has brought her culinary skills to Huaran. I had some of the best meals in Peru while at Awa lodge. Carlos went out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed while there.
