I had stayed at this hotel in 2011 when it was called Qawana Lodge and was blown away by it's beauty and service. I was so eager to bring my group to experience this place. Fast forward to July 2018, what a disappointing experience. What happened?||We arrive at night, there was only one person at the desk, nobody to help with the luggage. The person at the desk was not able to give us any kind of information. To start one of the rooms had the toilet clogged and that was before we checked in. The rooms looked old and dirty with cobwebs. The electric outlets were broken. The restaurant which in the past had a fabulous menu had no menu at all. The dinning room was cold. The next morning we asked for the clothes to be washed and specifically requested same day service since we were leaving the next morning at 7 am. After our day tour, got back to the hotel and found out our clothes were just being washed that night, needles to say when we got our clothes back they were wet. Again nobody could tell us what happened. Breakfast the next morning was cold again. Poor management. I saw only one person, Paloma, doing all the work. She said she had just started working that week, the same goes for the "Manager" a young man who said he just started working there as well. As much as they both tried to help and apologize for the inconveniences this was a very sad experience that I hope will never happen again for this hotel is off our list. I went to spend a night with my fiancee. when we returned from the hotel restaurant for the dinner; the room was tidy, we found strange at the same time was a nice touch.||The next morning, when we packed our things, I realized that my sunglasses were missing. After looking around the room, we went to complain to the reception and the manager told us that it was not uncommon for things to be lost.||We asked to speak to the manager and I was shocked that she was asking us if she could check our stuff and open our suitcase in front of her and look for all our stuff. As if we were lying. After more than two hours the lenses appeared.||We could not waste any more time in that place and asked for a solution, the manager promised to give us a solution in two days because we had to communicate with the owners to try to get a refund, it has been 17 days and we have not received any response or Called by them. I have called several times to try to solve this problem and I am denied to the manager saying that it is busy and will call back.||I will never go back...
