Hostal Musky — Hotel in Chiclayo

We loved it here.||We booked it as it was cheap and we were trying to cut back on some costs so our expectations were not very high.||However they far exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived.||There was a lovely warm welcome, a smile, a very nice room and hot showers all waiting for us.||The room was very clean and was serviced every day. We were here for 4 nights and our bedding was changed after the 2nd night too.||The room has a fan which is plenty adequate - AC was not necessary at all.||We had a room on the 3rd floor at the front which although on the main road, did not suffer from street noise at night and we both slept very well in the comfy bed.||||There is free wifi here but on the 3rd floor it would drop off frequently but rooms on the lower floors and in reception there were no issues at all.||||Breakfast was always lovely and the bread so soft and fresh. They don't have a dining area here so the lovely people who run this place, bring it to your room on a tray at your requested time each morning. Fabulous!||||The area was perfect for us too. Town centre 10 minute walk in one direction, massive shopping mall 10 minutes in the other with many bars and restaurants there too.||||The only niggle I had at all here - and it is just a small one, is that the anti-bed-bug mattress protector was slippery to sleep on and the sheet would slide off it in the night. Like i said just a small niggle and we were able to overcome that on the 2nd night.||||Overall i would absolutely recommend Musky Hostal even to those people not...

Hi,|So I checked I to this hostel short notice as I'd seen it on Hostelworld, rooms very basic, and cold shower but that is to be expected so I was finally e with that. What makes this the worst place I've ever stayed at is..|At 3am I was woken up by the very loud staff talking to themselves not just whispering but shouting and laughing, this lasted atleast 30mins before I fell asleep again.|Woken up at 7.30am for breakfast one we had not asked for and certainly not at 7.30am! |7.45 - lots of banking and building work started on the hostel, I was not told this would be happening and that early!|Finally I asked if I could check.out 2hrs later thinking there would be no issue due to not many rooms being taken. I was told no and I would have pay 45 sole for this (it's only 60 for the whole night) when I then told them about my complaints and it's the least they could.do they didn't care and then lied to me saying the room has a reservation (they just told me I could if I paid) |At 1.02pm I got a knock on my door telling me I had to leave now! |Absolutely appalling service , on top of cold water, basic room and WiFi not working...

Avis en Francais/ Comentario en Espanol|J'avais vu des supers avis de cet hostel, mais pour moi le pire hostel de mon voyage. Ils nous ont installé dans la chambre a coté de la reception. On entendait tout à 3h du matin le personnel entrain de parler fort... A 7h30 ils ont toqué à la porte de notre chambre pour le petit dej... à 8h les travaux... |Nous avons demandé après tout cela si il etait possible de rester 2h de plus dans la chambre ils ont voulu nous faire payer 45 soles presque le prix de la chambre (60 soles) et à 13h02 (check out a 13h) ils ont re toqué à la chambre pour nous dire qu'il etait l'heure de partir.||Para mi fue el peor hostel de mi viaje. El personel es muy irrespectuoso. Estabamos en la habitacion al lado de la recepcion. Y durante toda la noche estaban hablando muy fuerte y se escuchava todo de la habitacion. Despues de esso nos despiertaron a las 7:30 de la manana para el desayuno.... a las 8:00 empezaron los ruidos de las obras. Casi no podiamos hablar en la habitacion. La agua fria, el internet si funcionar durante 1 hora.|Despues de esso pedimos si era possible quedarnos 2h mas en la habitacion nos dijeron que teniamos que pegar 45 soles... y las 13:02 (el check out ere a las 13:00) llamaron a la puerta para decir que teniamos...
