Just finished staying at Bracamonte for 1 month, this place is an Oasis compared to the surrounding areas, i could have stayed in places half the price and a unit in the centre of Huanchaco but chose here because the relaxed vibe of the complex and it is tidy and clean, this far outweighed losing my sanity with the honking of car horns and people yelling or music from clubs... the grounds are super tidy, all the staff are really nice ( especially the smiley dude with his hat backwards) ||Juilo who is the manager/owner? is really accommodating and always ready to organize anything you need, cannot recommend it enough, really a nice place to stay to chill out and find some tidiness, there are a few dogs close by that like to start up sometimes, but this is a given, but if you don't want to listen to the incessant honking of car horns which Peruvians like to do then this is your place... i was going to stay here 3 months but had to bail to catch up with someone, but could have stayed here no worries... i am Vegan so Peru is hard to find food i think, my Spanish is non existent, would be good to have a vegan curry or burrito on the menu... i am sure i could have organised something like that but i found a place near by that did cheap veg food so just went there... This is without a doubt the best place i have stayed so far in Peru... no hesitations to point people to here... no other options in Huanchaco in my opinion ( disclaimer - i come from a very beautiful and QUIET area in Australia so i cannot put up with noise and whohar as well as other people... ) ( Bracamonte location is on the edge of Huanchaco's busier district, the centre of town is only a 5...

It was only a 5-10 minute walk, but so nice and quiet to be away from all the people and car horns. The pool looked really clean and inviting, but unfortunately, the off season weather wasn't conducive to getting in.||We had a room near the back of the property (with a table and chairs on a patio) and it was nice and roomy. Everything was very clean, and the staff was constantly wiping everything down (even the rock walls and walking paths!). Sadly, the hot water just never got beyond lukewarm.||Breakfast was nice and filling - you could even order how you'd...
Read moreThe area of the hotel is very nice and green. Although the hotel is not new, it's very well kept. The staff were polite and helpful.||Our standard room was a bit small, and especially the bed (about 130 cm) was too narrow for two people. Otherwise, the room was cozy and well planned. It was well cleaned and there was warm water.||We had breakfasts and some evening meals at the hotel restaurant, which was practical, no need to walk further. All tasted good enough. The location was good - close to the beach and walking distance from the village center, and midweek there was...
