Wasi home is not for everyone, but I think everyone should at least try it once... Here you have different menu's and options.
Is not a restaurant you go to just to eat, is more like an experience.
The location is great as it is literally the house where this family lives. You can experience a slow pace high quality meal, with vegan, vegetarian and also a fish option.
Is not rushed, based on quality rather than quantity so you won't have a crowded place, noisy and most of all they take care of your dinner in every aspect.
The food is all home made at home, from the sauce, to the fish picked freshly, to the lasagne and so on.
The price is worthy the experience, can get up to 100 soles more or less (25 euro), which can seem expensive for Peruvian standards, but I have eaten in Italian restaurants with a dish at 35/40 or even 65 here in Peru, and the quality is unmatched on my point of view...
On top of that, Edu and Eva are great, they will chat and socialize and even playing live music almost every day.
Definitely...
Read moreMolle by Casa Wasihome is the definition of a hidden gem!!! We discovered the restaurant through our hostel despite not finding anything about it online, and we’re so glad we went. We’ve been in Peru three weeks so far and this has easily been the best meal we’ve had. First off, the restaurant is beautifully decorated. The atmosphere is so warm and inviting you feel like you’re dining in a friend’s home. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming and the service is friendly and attentive. Then there is the FOOD! We were wowed by the flavors (and presentation) of our dishes. The Chan Chan and Totorita dishes were stand-outs for us. Truly amazing flavors; it’s clear how much love and care is put into the cooking. Our cocktails were also incredibly tasty and refreshing! Plus, the live music was such a treat. I wouldn’t be surprised if we come back in a couple years (or sooner) and this spot is double the price and tough to get a reservation at, and even then I’d...
Read moreWe had the loveliest Easter dinner at Wasihome. Every dish was a fantastic modern culinary take on a classic made with thought and precision, but for me the true standouts were the Nikkita ceviche and the Si Pong Wasi vegan lasagna. My companions were particularly taken with their Chan Chan oyster mushroom and avacado ceviche. Flavors were rich and complementary and the progression of the menus worked well. The vegan dishes were the best vegetarian food I’ve had in Peru. Service was great and included full explanations of the ingredients of dishes as they came out.
You’re not going to find a better dining experience for the price (66 soles / 3 courses, 88 soles / 5 courses).
For a set menu fine dining dinner, Wasihome was still surf-town flexible and casual, allowing us to sit very early, exchange a dish to try more, and dress in beachwear. They also have live music later in...
