El Huerto Hostel — Hotel in Ica

Stayed here as we couldn’t get the type of room we wanted out at Huacachina. Glad we stumbled across this place on Booking. The owners are friendly and extremely helpful, the place is spotlessly clean and well maintained, and lastly they include a simple but very tasty homecooked breakfast.|They have a beautiful little courtyard garden where you can relax and listen to the sound of the birds singing, a welcome respite from the traffic and relentless horn honking of Ica.||Only feedback would be the double room we were in was a too bright during the night, needs better curtains/blackouts, although this seems to be a nationwide issue in Peru and not specific...

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Your right in the middle of Ica and the outside is very nondescript but when you walk in, down the long corridor you arrive in the garden/lobby area. Rooms are super clean and exactly as pictured. Nice accomodations and a great choice for Ica. The staff/family is super friendly and eager to assist their guests with anything. Breakfast is delicious and made fresh to order. The tables in the Huerta are a great place to sit and relax in the afternoon and evenings as well. ||||I will stay here again when I...
