Real Hotel Ica — Hotel in Ica

What a big disappointment was this hotel The food was horrible, the service terrible and very unprofessional We were served a New Year's eve dinner I believe a 3 year child could have produced better it was HORRIBLE..Some sort of rice dish and meat terrible all 7 of us did NOT eat it. Trying to get the front desk people to connect the wifi to our room was a unbelievable, they kept saying we will connect it, but it took 2 days before they did, and when we went out for dinner and returned once again the wifi did NOT WORK. The SWIMMING POOL or I should say CESS POOL was horrible, yellowish in color and we were afraid of going in the water. There were a lot of local kids in the pool, not hotel residents, and no smell of cholorine anywhere.and we were quite sure there was more urine in the pool then in the bathrooms. The rooms were nice and clean although it felt dated ..We would not recommend this...

You may as well have taken a time machine to the 80s with the decor, the carpets, the beds, even the music during breakfast. I didn't mind that though, found it kinda funny. I was in a room with two friends, there were two double beds and one little bed that was tiny and not too comfortable. Over all it was clean. The shower did not drain so if you were in there for too long you would find yourself ankle deep in water. Breakfast was delicious though, buffet style with a large selection. Service was okay, nothing over the top (I asked for a blanket and it came up to the room half an hour later). Wifi really sucked, we had to bring chairs out into the hallway and sit there while we tried sending an emails because we had no connection in our rooms (throughout the whole hotel wifi connection was...

I booked a new year‘s package including a new year‘s eve party and some extras for a comparable huge amount of money. Maybe my expectations were a bit too high after I paid the price, however there were only 2 sources of electricity in the room and 1 didn’t work. There was no water at the breakfast, I had to ask for water. There was loud party outside 3 days in a row until 2-3 am without soundproof windows; the bass nearly teared apart the glass. In the hotel bar I had to ask for my change after they gave me a wrong product.

Long story short: the rooms are huge, the water in the shower either cold or burning hot, the staff is friendly but slow as well as less service oriented (and none of them speaks english). Wi-Fi is a catastrophe. Above that the special packages for events are absolutely...
