Laguna Surf Camp — Hotel in Máncora

I stayed at Laguna Surf Camp for a bit longer than two weeks, while my friends spent more than a month here. All of us had an incredible time thanks to the hospitality of Pilar. The place is magical and you can feel it the moment you step the foot on the property, located meters away from the beach you fall asleep to the sound of the waves and wake up to the shimmering palm tree leaf sounds. No wonder numerous iguanas, hummingbirds, and other exotic creatures choose to hangout here on the daily basis.

Talking about the accommodations and the service, the cabana that i stayed in was spacious and full of sunlight during the day. A hammock outside of it was one of my favorite spots to take a midday nap, and the pool just outside of my room was a great place to be once the wind picked up on the beach later in the day.

I worked remotely while staying at Laguna and the wifi was great, not to mention that there are many amazing spots to work from on the property!

I had breakfast included in my stay and it was such a delight to have fresh juice, fruits, eggs, and bread waiting for me once I woke up each morning.

I highly recommended staying at this magical place! Thank you for hosting me, Pilar, I cannot wait to return to the sunny Mancora!

We loved our visit here. Stayed for 3 nights. First off this is not the Paris Hilton! So ppl complaining about amenities maybe didn’t understand the situation. You don’t get air conditioning room, service or carpeted floors. It is a very basic but comfortable and friendly place. From the moment we met the owner Pilar (at 3:30am btw),we felt as welcome as ever. Tony and Miguel were so helpful and pleasant. |These excellent ppl did everything they could to make us feel comfortable. |The beds were acceptable, the shower hot, the pool clean and warm. You can’t get better for the reasonable price we paid. It’s 100m from the beach, It is a short walk to all the best restaurants in town and shopping. We did not see one mosquito on any day. We highly recommend this place. Also if you were a surfer or a beginner Pilar is an instructor and will get you started at her...

We really enjoyed our stay at the Laguna! 💯The Laguna is a kind of small but super cozy hotel in Mancora. The owners are super friendly and relaxed. 😎They have elegant rooms with nice bathromms with warm!! Water. They offer really good wifi, a pool and a yoga area. The breakfast was included and was super jummy, including coffee, fresh juice, eggs and marmelade with bred.🤤 The location of the hotel is right next to the beach and next to the centre of mancora. My highlight were the surf lessons with Pilar, the surf instructor of the hotel.
