Going upstairs, the last 2 steps have a different height than the other steps; therefore, you must be careful when going up. Going down is not really noticeable.
The room was great, very clean and nice linings. TV and Air Conditioning working well with their remote control.
Channel 12.3 is the only English language station.
A cozy small closet provides room to hang clothes, store luggage and shoes.
A nice table/desk was very handy to place extra items.
The room does not have enough electric outlets. Therefore, if you need to charge your cell phone, you would need to plug it near the door entrance and a bit away from the bed. It would be nice to have electric outlets right by the lamps near the bed headboard.
Restroom was very clean with toilet paper and two small bar soaps, but did not have a shelf where to place the shampoo. Only bar soap is provided, along with towels. It would be nice to have space for the toiletries.
We stayed in room 206. The lock on this room does not work properly. You would need to double check it when leaving the room.
The Wi-Fi and password, as named on a small piece of paper given to us at the beginning, were not working. The one named HOTEL SAN MARTIN1 was the only one that worked in our second floor.
The breakfast was good.
A cup of coffee, a papaya juice, a small bowl of scooped watermelon and a “empanada” were served on day 1. On day 2, we had papaya juice, coffee and a super delicious shredded chicken sandwich with mayonnaise. We asked for an extrs sandwich at a cost of 6 soles each. The lady in charge of the breakfast, Doña Carmen, was very nice.
Both, day (Tania) and evening receptionists were very nice and helpful. They were very knowledgeable of surrounding attractions.
