Valles Apartamentos Ecológicos ( VAE ) - Urubamba Cusco Perú — Hotel in Urubamba

All of my reviews should be taken with a grain of salt. Please understand that everyone’s experience differs even if both people stayed in the same room together; two people’s perspectives could be completely different.

With that being said, this place disappointed me because the photos did not match the reality I saw while staying there for 5 nights.

I found the bathroom sink dirty from the previous guests, the floor wasn’t swept, and there were many spots on the wall and door frames that needed some touch up. For example the light fixture in the bathroom was out of its place and just killed the vibe.

Other than all of that, the place has a massive kitchen for you to make your food, huge open community area spaces that are nice to chill at… beautiful backyard and view.

And the most important thing for me when staying somewhere is the comfort and cleanliness of the bed… because rest is the most important thing for me and this mattress did not disappoint. 10/10 on the quality of the bed! There were extra blankets provided as well as four pillows — just like I like it.

What really disappointed me the most, however was the kitchen not having a water filter for quests to have clean filtered water to drink… this honestly is unacceptable — I believe every hotel/airbnb should offer clean drinking water, as THE BARE MINIMUM for a comfortable stay.

The staff however as well as Lui’s were VERY kind, attentive and accommodating.

Will I be coming back…? No!
