Willow b&b can only be described as a magical place. We stayed a night here but could have easily stayed a week (the bus was booked unfortunately). Kath was a terrific host, she organised takeaway and tea for us and delivered it right to our room as we were a little under the weather and couldn’t make it into town. The setting is just beyond incredible, we were surrounded by lemon, lime, apple and orange trees amongst many beautiful flowers. We had the most peaceful sleep and a divine breakfast which was all local - the homemade strawberry jam was delicious and the coffee was the best we’ve had in South America. However, Kath’s German shepherd Margus really stole the show, calling into us to come play instantly lifting our spirits. I would highly recommend the B&B to anyone. Thank you Kath & mum...
Read moreOne of the most comfortable beds and sheets in my travels of the last many months. Spotless clean. Very neat and tidy. Well maintained. Lovely garden inside. Lovely dogs. The Willow is about a 15 minutes walk (Or a few minutes/few soles on a tuk tuk). away from the noise of town. You can hear the silence and feel the stillness, and feel the sacredness of the valley, away from the tourists and the bustle. . Others say the breakfast is good too. Perhaps, next time I visit, the beautiful and most wonderful Katherin (who helped us also with travel tips) would be running a Vegan place, and then I would eat too! And finally the price. Excellent...
Read moreAmazing place!!!! Kathleen is such a great person, really attentive and willing to give you all the advice you need regarding places to visit or eat and how to get around. The location is really nice and quiet, a 20 min walk or 5 min taxi ride from the centre and the yard is amazing to enjoy the afternoon sun! There are two cute dogs and a few cats, a campfire place and the breakfast in the garden is amazing! Bread, jam, egg, fruits, tea, juice. And plenty! Also the single room I had was really nice, with a private bathroom and the comfiest bed ever. 10/10 would recommend if you're staying in Urubamba :) muchas...
