yes, this is a beachfront resort. yes, they have a cafe. yes, they have nice rooms. yes, you can rent surfboards and get surfing lessons here.
they have 2 buildings, an old one and the new one. book a room at the new building if you can. i'm not at all saying avoid the old building. rooms at the new building are just generally more nicer. bathrooms in the old building need a major overhaul though.
airconditioning is very good. if you're the type who prefers a cold room to retreat into when the sun's really out, their rooms will definitely offer you a comforting respite.
food/meal options can be considered limited but sufficient. lets say you were to eat breakfast here plus another meal in a day, you're all set. portion and pricing is very good. you can even ask them to cook you up anything you want provided you inform them ahead of time. i encourage Baler visitors to also try out El Teodoros, The Good Food, Yellow Fin, Kusina Luntian and Dialyn's Bakeshop which are all just a short walk from the resort. also try Playa Azul's resto (1 tricycle ride away or a 20-min walk by the boardwalk). on Labasin street (a short 2-3-min walk from the resort), you'll find a myriad of street food vendors from 5am up to 6pm.
they have a grill and you can cook here if you wish. the public market/town center is a short 5-min tricylce ride away. the tricycle terminal is at Labasin Street (2-3min walk)
the resort has a mini-grocery which pretty much has all the basic essentials you might need. toiletries, shirts, slippers, junkfood, cup noodles, soft drinks, bottled water, ice, ice cream, etc the pricing aint a rip-off either.

Read moreA very nice beach front resort-hotel. You could capture the beauty of Baler's pride while at stay here. They have good parking space but limited access from main road. It is very understandable considering the location (Boracay has worse roads). Rooms are very nice and comfortable. They serve good breakfast but It does not come free as complimentary for their room accommodations. Consumable basic toiletries are included (shampoo, bath soap, toothpase, and toothbrush), towels comes with a minimal extra charge along with extra blankets if requested. Room rates are somewhat cheap as compared to other beach-front resorts. They have free wifi and cable TV as well (yay!). They have cheaper variants of their regular rooms with TV slashed. If you've gone to Baler for beach activities all-day long, the best option is to avail the more budget-friendly no-TV rooms. Staff are very friendly. Generally, this could be the to-go place for anyone visiting Baler for vacation. As per their locales, December to February are the best season to go their to experience...
Read moreThis place is fantastic! The service is truly exceptional. The owner's personal touch, remembering my daughters' names, made us feel so welcome. The beachfront location is perfect, and the surf instructors were friendly and helpful. We were pleasantly surprised with a discount upon checkout, and the owner generously didn't charge us for using the kitchen. The rooms were clean and comfortable, making this stay incredible value for the price. There are a lot of parking slots for your car. Just a minor suggestion, I wish the pressure of the bidet is a bit strong....
