As the name implies, it is located in the "midtown" of Basco, Batanes, with every major location such as the park, town hall, and church within the town proper just a few minutes walk. The rooms were spacious enough and clean, with good, steady water supply (though the pressure was a bit weak). Towels were provided though only a small bar of soap was provided. However, water dispensers were free as long as you have your own containers and brewed/ instant coffee and tea were free. Plenty of dishes to choose from. For breakfast, we liked Beef Tapa and eggplant omellette; for lunch and dinner, we liked beef nilaga, calamares, grilled fish and chopseuy. We recommend fried camote with sweetened dip. There are two banks with ATM nearby. Highly recommended for...
