A great place to stay if you're planning lots of activities through the local area.
Rooms: Beds and pillows are comfy, rooms are surprisingly cool considering they are only using fans. Mosquito netting provided by didn't find many in the rooms if you keep your door shut. Basic but comfy and secluded. Heated shower was a nice touch, but we only ever need cold water out here.
Food: a little expensive for what it is but it's good local food and a good range of European stuff. The free breakfast had a good range and brewed coffee, not just instant.
Staff: very friendly and very helpful. Definitely made it a great experience here.
Location: perfect spot for loboc activities, and the staff help organise any trips you need. There's a water sports just up the road (50 meters) and a town nearby. The local town BBQ spot by the river was amazing too, good food and very cheap (P300 for 2 people). You can get beers from 7-11 to drink there and return the bottles...
Read moreThe best part of this resort are the really kind local people who work there. They’re so sweet and helpful and we are grateful for them! Truly some of the kindest people! That is the only positive thing I can say about this place and why this is getting 2 stars and not 1. The rooms are quite dirty, there is sand falling from the ceiling. The ceiling fan/light is broken. There is another fan but it’s way too hot for the ceiling fan to be broken with no AC. Basic things are missing- a lamp and a night table would have been the bare minimum to include in the room. The walls are sooo thin you can hear the people next door snoring, coughing, talking. There is barely any water pressure in the shower. There is some major upgrades and care needed to be given to this place for it to have a shot at being a comfortable place to stay. The firefly cottages down the street has an amazing restaurant and the accomodations looks beautiful, we wished we...
Read moreSummary: for the prize, its not worth the stay.
The first night we stayed, there came little flies flying out a hole in the wall. The lady was very quick responding in fixing it and felt sorry. But well, not a very good start. We did not have the same problem again, but were not feeling safe about it.
Furthermore, the room was old and some parts were almost falling apart. There was a mosquito net installed, so that is good. Also two fans could be turned on 👌🏼 But then the power failed during the night, so the fans were not functioning.
We had breakfast included, and it was oke. But not that good.
The location is not bad at the Loboc river and nearby a fine restaurant and some to do's on the river.
Looking at what we paid, and the quality of the whole stay I would say we paid far to much. But if the prize would be lower, I think it would be...
