Miami Inn — Hotel in Cagayan de Oro

We stayed here for two nights. They allowed us to check in as early as 8am since we need to go for white water rafting. ||STAFF:||The daytime receptionist was helpful and nice. The night time lady is not friendly at all. Cleaning lady needs to be trained more. Tables and floor are quite dusty. One cockroach was running around our room on our first night.||ROOMS:||We got two suite rooms, each room is good for 3 pax. Rooms are big but dark, aside from lack of lighting, one room has dark red curtains and bedsheets. Need stronger light. Bathroom light is too weak. Aircon is good. Bedsheets and towels seemed clean.||BREAKFAST IS FREE:||Just a cup of rice, egg and spring rolls on the first day, fried porkchop on the 2nd day. Nothing special but for the rate, this can be considered a good deal esp for budget travellers like us.||LOCATION:||It's on a very busy street where traffic is always bad. There's a convenience store and drug store nearby which can be a plus factor.||||Would I recommend this one? For budget...

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and we did not encounter any problem in terms of their service and accommodation. The staff are friendly, they even assisted us with our heavy luggage despite no elevator. The rooms are clean and big. They accepted our in-room food order even at late hours and the food from their cafeteria is good. I especially loved their breakfast, nothing fancy but good. The hotel is accessible to shopping places in CDO since it is located along the main road where PUJs and taxis are always available. They are keen and accommodating to guests special request, like on our 2nd day, we have an early call time to Camiguin so we requested for an early wake up call and packed breakfast, and they delivered. We were so pleased with the staff. My only concern is the lobby smells old. Probably proper ventilation or installation of ionizer will solve it. Nonetheless, I will recommend this hotel for...

Stayed for 1 night only. ||It's just what you expect from a budget room. ||It got no flat screen TV (the available tv is the big bulky ones from your grand ma) plus it's not elevated so when watching cable tv while on bed is a hassle you don't have a good view. |The bathroom is small and a bit cramped, no hot shower during my stay. ||The air conditioning is okay and the room is big. (No good view from its windows though)||Breakfasts is a disappointment, I was served only a small portion of fried chicken with rice and egg with one cup instant coffee.
