La Concepcion Cove Garden Resort — Hotel in Cebu

We stayed at this nice little hotel near the beach during July ‘24. It’s somewhat difficult to find and the last part of the road is a bit bumpy with car/scooter 🛵 🚗.

Reception is good. The rooms are quite clean and spacious. We did have some small ants in the room. We had a room at the upper floor. With AC and fan. Shower is ok, but the pressure is low. Be mindful that the toilet and shower are quite close to each other.

Big plus: From the room it’s only a 2 minute walk to the private ‘beach’ where you can snorkel and swim 🤿. They are also building a pool which should be finished by September ‘24.

Breakfast is not included, but you can purchase it separately in the morning. Or go to the town for a breakfast. We had breakfast at the hotel the first day, and in town the next.

If you don’t mind the occasional little visitor 🦎, you can have value for money if you lock in...

Given 4s to the bedroom I had, just a very small shower but they're just what you need essentially, very clean, tidy and they will happily give you extra towels. 5s for the veiw as you'll see on my video! Ocean veiw is amazing and you can snorkel for turtles too. The fruit platter is to die for; I always ask for extra mango on mine.

Can not say enough about the friendly, warm welcoming, and very accommodating staff! You can book tours here too! Kasawan falls (or any tour for that matter) works out cheaper and you get food + transport (pick up & drop off) included.

Location is absolutely brilliant for exploring Moalboal.

Couldn't be in a more perfect spot. Highly recommend for anyone planning to visit Moalboal.

I have put quiet which it is so peaceful but on a couple of the nights was loud music playing around...

We had such a peaceful and nice time. The atmosphere is calm and quiet. Perfect for recharge and take a break.

The pool was super clean .

We loved the green areas and the rooms we stayed in, which were very clean and had great air conditioning. While some spaces could use a little extra care or updates, everything was still comfortable.

The staff was amazing! Everyone was so friendly and helpful, always greeting us with a smile and taking care of every request.

One of the highlights of our trip was meeting Vlad, a long-term guest. He is like part of the place somehow. He made our stay so much better, both at the hotel and during our time in Moalboal.

Breakfast was also very good! I highly recommend the oats with mango and banana, as well as the toast with eggs and bacon.
