Mangoes Place — Hotel in Cebu

Located about 600m away from the touristed area around Pangasama beach. Altrove Trattoria and The Three Bears restaurants are close by. They both have positive reviews so I dined here at night. In the mornings I would walk down to the tourist area for brunch.||My room was large, clean with a wardrobe and table. The bathroom was also large with shower and toilet separated. What a lovely place to stay! Large comfortable en suite rooms with air con and wifi. Great location just a couple mins walk from the main restaurants/cafes and 5 mins walk from the turtles & sardines. Run by friendly locals who made me feel welcome during my stay. This place has a relaxed, quiet vibe and is ideal for couples or solo travellers. Bei der Ankunft wurden wir schon unfreundlich empfangen und es kam einem so vor als wären wir unerwünscht.. Die Zimmer waren unsauber und beim Rundgang hat die Besitzerin noch unauffällig Motten mit dem Finger entfernt. In der Wohnung roch es nach Feuchtigkeit und Schimmel - außerdem lag ein angegessener Apfel vom Vorgänger unter dem Bett - was schon einiges über die Sauberkeit und Reinigung aussagt. Die Räume waren unterschiedlich ausgestattet.. Als wir ankamen, ging stundenlang kein Strom (das kommt ab und zu vor in Moalboal). Nach dem Strandaufenthalt wurden wir angemeckert, dass wir den laundry-service nutzen sollen (welcher kostenpflichtig ist), obwohl wir nur die Wäsche zum trocknen aufgehängt hatten.. Außerdem ist die Unterkunft noch SCHWEINETEUER! 3 Tage gab es keinen Raumservice und keine neuen Handtücher geschweige denn Toilettenpapier..
