Dyna and JP were great hosts, and Irene and Len were so accommodating too! We got the family room since booking direct had better prices. The aircon was cold, the beds were firm, and the bathrooms were clean and had a shower curtain and toilet seat cover, and a bidet. We also had a balcony area and a water dispenser was available at the reception. Our room came with breakfast (a pleasant surprise since we did not know that when we booked) and we were offered a refreshing welcome drink upon arrival.
What makes the service here above and beyond is how they were able to entertain our ask of a freediving lesson on the same day. It's not often that you have the chance to learn from a world-class freediver, and we were lucky enough to be taught by JP and Dyna.
In terms of location, it was a convenient walk to the more crowded places but still comfortable enough to not be kept awake from the noise.

Read moreWe love staying at Okeanos hotel. It has a great location, in Moalboal’s Basdiot district. There’s some nightlife in the local clubs with live music, and they’re accessible to everything. Dyna and JP and are experienced free divers and instructors. They always know what’s going on the beach scene! The in-house experience at Okeanos was wonderful. The rooms were clean and there were lot’s of Dyna’s artistic touches in every corner of the rooms. It’s all done with thoughtful simplicity and love. The internet was fast and rates are reasonable. What more can we ask? No wonder Okeanos is so popular with the free-diving crowds as well as foreigners and locals alike. It’s a labor of love for Dyna, JP and their son. Guest always feel welcome in this home-away-from-home atmosphere. I highly...
Read moreLocation was a 5-minute walk to the beach so that was really good for us.
Room was cozy, really clean and spacious for 5 people.
Service was good. The receptionist even helped us find laundry service. There's free instant coffee & a water dispenser free to use.
They also have a joint restaurant/bar/cafe - if you need a quick meal/drink, you just have to go downstairs!
Only bad things worth mentioning: CR bidet was leaking which caused the floor to always be wet. Balcony door can't be closed from the outside (no door handle - so a person from inside our room always close the door).
Another thing to note is that there's no TV - if ever you need one. :D
Overall, we really enjoyed...
