I recently had the displeasure of staying at what was supposed to be a relaxing getaway, but unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations. THIS IS NOT A 5-STAR HOTEL! The most glaring issue was the lack of cleanliness. It took three separate requests before the staff bothered to clean our room, and even then, it seemed like they couldn't be bothered and procrastinated it couple times. They ended up cleaning the room but we had to wait for them to do as we insisted that they do it and they did not bother to do it when we were away and they did it very roughly. They also refused to provide new bottled water and expect guests to refill from a dispenser with our used bottles, which it crosses the line of convenience and hygiene. Don't even get me started on the Wi-Fi situation. It was more like a frustrating game of connection roulette than a reliable service. And to add insult to injury, there's no elevator. Navigating the lack of this basic amenity became an unintended workout. Room maintenance was another letdown. Our first room welcomed us with a broken faucet, and the second one deprived us of a working water heater. It felt like the hotel was playing catch-up with its own flaws. The cherry on top of this disappointment sundae was the noise pollution. Our room facing the street exposed us to a nightly symphony of barking dogs and an early morning wake-up call courtesy of chanting hens from 4 am onwards. The staff's indifference to this cacophony left us questioning our decision to stay. Surprisingly, even the beach towels came with a price tag—80 PHP each. It felt like an unnecessary and unwelcome additional charge for something that should be a basic courtesy. As for the location, unless you have a bike, be prepared to shell out for tricycle rides every time you want to venture into town. The lack of walking distance to amenities is a significant inconvenience. I would not complain this much if they didn't claim to be a 5-star hotel because this is such a scam. I would be less disappointed than this if I knew what I would face. In summary, my stay at this hotel was the worst experience I've had in the Philippines so far. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place at all costs. There are far better options that actually live up to the standards they claim to uphold.

First time visiting Coron and our first place fell through.. we were looking at our other options and I really liked the Island Wanderers Inn listing on Airbnb. It didn't have reviews yet so I messaged the owner and I was so impressed and surprised by how quickly and thoroughly they answered all my questions, even questions about the town that they didn't have to answer to help me with my stay. The entire staff from front desk to kitchen to room service was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were in new condition, well air conditioned, and the family rooms come with a great patio that overlooks the pool and you can eat on. The restaurant and pool stay open pretty late which is great and there's a wide variety on their menu for fair prices. They have affordable deals with local tours and motor rentals.. tours will pick you up from the hotel, as well the affordable airport shuttle rentals. The location is good, a few minutes out of the heart of Coron, and if you aren't comfortable with a moto rental but need a ride, it's about 20p/pax to grab a trike. Wifi was stable and available not only in lobby, but each floor has its own wifi router. Everything was seamless. I have limited Tagalog skills and was still able to communicate well with everyone. I couldn't recommend this place enough! Maraming salamat po for your hospitality :)

We stayed here from Aug 17 to Aug 20. We occupied four family rooms at the 3rd floor. Rooms are actually spacious and clean with great AC. Only problems to their rooms are drainage is weak, molds on the ceiling and tons of insects. The inn was maintained clean and their service is GREAT actually. Their resto are missing a few on their menu item and the the prices are WAYYYYY to the roof. Food taste is okay but im telling you that its TOOOOOO expensive. They are also offering to use their amenities like pool and karaoke to outside for a fee which is not great for the guest cause we never had a chance to use those because of too much outsiders. There is a night that I had called the front desk to stop the karaoke because it is late that night. Location is quite a distance from the centre. Overall, staffs are amazing but OVER PRICE in food and accommodation and not location wise and too much outsiders.

We finally arrived after being given the wrong address, I rang the host she had to give directions to a Tuk Tuk driver. We went to the restaurant to get food as the receptionist told us it was opened, given a menu by three staff that were standing in the restaurant. After 15mins nobody came to take our order, I walked up to a staff member asking could we order to be told there was no chef on the premises. The female staff member laugh at me. We went to our room on the 4th floor with no lift. The picture of the room we booked had one double bed and one single bed. The room we were given had two small single beds. When questioned and asked if we could have a different room we were told no. Texted the host via WhatsApp three times by and heard nothing back I feel I have been made fun of and laughed at by the staff. And I feel absolutely disgusted that I have paid and can not be refunded. No way would I ever stay here again! Staff is extremely rude, unhelpful and in no way...
