Great Accommodation and Food, but Poor Customer Service and Maintenance Issues

Our check-in experience was horrible. The staff insisted that we had only paid for two people, even though we had paid for three. This became a major hassle, as they kept bringing it up even on our second day of stay, repeatedly asking us to pay for the additional person. The worst part was when they approached us during breakfast—something that should have been handled at the front desk, not while we were eating. We went back to the front desk to clarify the issue, showing all our receipts and printed evidence, yet they continued to insist that we hadn’t paid for one person. This made us extremely frustrated and angry.

Eventually, a supervisor stepped in to assist us and explained that their website has its own quirks--confusing. In fact, we weren’t the only guests who had experienced this issue—others had complained as well. The website’s unclear information caused unnecessary stress, and I strongly suggest that the hotel fix it to prevent future misunderstandings. They should hire a better website designer and developer. This was the only major hassle we encountered during our stay.

Aside from that, the hotel itself is well-maintained. The place is neat, organized, and smells good. It is very hygienic, with bedsheets, towels, and pillowcases changed daily. The rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms are huge, with sinks and showers that have hot water, which is easy to adjust. They also provide a safe box that is simple to set up.

We had a ground-floor room with easy access to the swimming pool, which was a great convenience. The pool itself is spacious and not too deep, making it ideal for relaxing. They also have a kiddie pool and a mini waterfall, adding to the overall experience.

The balcony is a great addition, featuring a table, two chairs, and even a hanging rock, creating a cozy space to relax. The accessibility from the swimming pool to the balcony and into the room is seamless. Nearby activities include swimming and enjoying drinks at the bar. While they do have a big TV, it is unfortunately not a smart TV.

One of the highlights of this hotel is the food. It is the only hotel I have ever stayed in that provides such exceptional food. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of choices, including pizza, dim sum, and an extensive selection of Filipino dishes that change daily. They also have a sweets corner with gummy bears and gummy worms, fresh fruits, coffee, juice, soup, waffles, pancakes, breads, and different spreads. Additionally, there is a station where someone will cook eggs to your preference, whether you want an omelet or sunny-side-up.

However, one major downside was the shower stations near the pool. Most of them were not functional, and the only working one was extremely dirty, covered in grime, mold, and green buildup. It was clearly not cleaned or maintained daily. Because of this, guests—including us—ended up skipping the shower and going straight into the pool, which was very unhygienic. The hotel should really improve this aspect to maintain proper sanitation for swimmers.

Overall, while the accommodations and food were excellent, the poor check-in experience and lack of maintenance in certain areas—particularly the shower stations—left a negative impression. If the hotel improves its website, customer service, and maintenance, it would be a much better...

The hotel was situated in Brgy. Poblacion 6, about 20-25mins ride from Busuanga airport. It is along the road and is not beachfront. They provide airport transfers for a fee and they were on time to fetch us.

We booked 4 superior rooms for our family of 10. All rooms were clean, spacious and had basic amenities. I loved that we were able to get a room at the ground floor that has a balcony leading to the pool. I had my kids with me so that was a plus.⭐ They provided clean towels everyday and refills the basic toiletries even without telling them. 💯

They have a restaurant that served delicious dishes. The variety was enough for me. Thank goodness for that because there aren't other restaurants nearby. Should you wish to eat elsewhere, you can eat in town. They have a shuttle you can hire or take a tricycle ride. There are tricycles that line outside the hotel.

They have 2 pools, 1 for adults and 1 for kids. They were big and clean and they provided specific towels to be used at the pool area so you won't have to bring one with you everytime you go for a dip.💯

The staff were outstanding. They are one of the best staff I have encountered. They are very professional, accommodating and are ready to attend to your needs. They greet you with a nice smile and would quickly provide your request. I have to commend Mr. Christian for helping me get a cake for my sister. He was very helpful. 💯💯💯

I think the only downside is the signal/wifi reception, which is almost none when you are in your room. They provide a wifi access that is only present when you are at the lobby or at the restaurant. But that's not a problem for me since I like to enjoy my vacation with less calls.

In summary, I would highly recommend this hotel. They can provide a comfortable luxury for...

We stayed there for 2 night on 16-18 of October. Very unprofessional staff -Need to ring more than 20times if we need something,, HK and Restaurant never pick up the call so better not to put their extension number on telephone. -After paid more than 9k and wifi is not free and answer frm Receptionist is very rude(you need to by voucher and 100 per person and had the slow internet ever) We get 2 bottles of water on thr 2nd day morning, so we called again evening if we call for warer and the first word from did you already get from HK if so you need to pay, so i was wondering this is how you reply the call and she adviced me to call restaurant( she could call to roomservice to send ). After 10 rings no answer so i called bqck againa and i request tmen to send water coz Roomservice not picking up call( O had to explain otherwise receptionist would say i told you to call. We were sitting near to swimming pool and asked if we can use free wifi- the waiter frm bar said we need to order somwthing inorder to use wifi, seriously we are room guest and paid 1k for dinner ,9K for room +1400 peso other extras and we wrer treated like we came for free. Check out day we missed our flight so we had to book new flight and when i asked if i can use computer, receptionist guide us to the near market which is totally unprofessional, but one the the concierge staff help us to use his computer next to reception. We hab to catch the flight ASAP so we request drop off to airport which was arranged but same van had to pick other guest from different hotel which lead us to delay which almost cost us another flight missed. For sure we will never come back to your property and i wont...

It's a decent hotel but far from town (20mins tricycle more or less). I would highly recommend this hotel for people who wants privacy since this is located on town outskirts and it could be completely quiet at night. Great staff service, and very accomodating to any of your requests. WIFI: Internet is BAD, you'll have to go to the lobby to access their "admin wifi". DATA SIGNAL: Nope, just NOPE. FOOD: Average. The buffet breakfast on Westown Hotel (Sister Company just across the highway) is recommended. For only 350 you'll have a wide variety of foods. They operate from 6:30am-10am. BAR: The guy assigned in the bar is nice. Prices however are a little bit expensive. LOCATION: If you wanted to have a hassle free tours, I would recommend you to book your hotel around town proper only. Aside from additional expenses for the tricycle (40 pesos one way, sometimes drivers asks more), you'll have the leisure to explore Coron after your every tour. CONCERNS: I have booked in Traveloka for a Queen Bed but they gave me a twin bed. Guests who checked in before me have been upgraded but my request was not granted. Staff offered me a queen bed 2 days after my checkin and I refused since I have a tour that day.
