Avoid this hotel at all costs unless you want to risk your health and safety. This place is infested with bedbugs, and the management is completely incompetent and indifferent to guest welfare.
During my stay in Room 302, I discovered bedbugs. I reported this immediately to the reception in the morning, but shockingly, there was no apology or immediate action. An hour later, a staff member came to inspect the room but claimed they couldn’t find anything. Meanwhile, my legs and sides were completely covered in bite marks. This is not just a minor inconvenience—it is a serious health and hygiene issue, which this hotel has utterly failed to address.
I booked this stay through Booking.com, but payment was made directly to the hotel at check-in. Despite the overwhelming evidence of the bedbug infestation and the physical harm caused, the hotel refused to issue a refund, arguing that I had already stayed the night. When I asked for their health and hygiene policy, as well as their refund policy, I was told that no such policies exist. Let that sink in: a hotel that has no standards for hygiene and no protocol for handling serious issues like bedbug infestations.
If you are thinking of staying here, beware: this hotel will take your money and leave you to deal with the consequences of their negligence. They will not take responsibility, nor will you be able to speak to anyone in charge. The so-called manager and supervisor only handle situations via phone calls, and no matter how serious the issue, you will not be allowed to meet them in person. Clearly, guest health and safety are not their priority.
To make matters worse, the room conditions were disgustingly filthy—a fact that only adds insult to injury.
If you stay here, you do so at your own risk. Unless you enjoy sleepless nights, painful bites, and the frustration of dealing with an unresponsive and incompetent staff, avoid this hotel entirely. Check every crevice of your bed, mattress, pillows, and blankets before you even think of lying down. If you don’t find anything immediately, consider yourself lucky—but remember, a clean room is not guaranteed, and you’re gambling with...
Read moreI booked for a 2-night stay at this hotel, but it was cut short and we had to leave just after a day due to typhoon Egay. So we only were able to stay for a night. But I have to say that it was all worth it. ||The room: it was spacious. It had 1 queen bed and 1 single bed. Had clean sheets. Complete with the usual things that you would see inside a hotel room. Only thing missing is a table where you can eat.||The toilet: strong water pressure, had hot and cold water, and the usual free toiletries. Also had clean towels. Spacious as well. I was just surprised to see tons of ants on the sink.||The staff: super nice and friendly. Especially the lady when we checked in (I can’t remember her name unfortunately, since we were all too tired because of the 12-hr drive). The guard was also nice :)||The parking: they unfortunately don’t have a covered parking and the spots in front of the hotel belongs to the restaurant so you can’t park there either. You have to park at the side of the building. Open parking.||The plus for this hotel would be the amazing location. The room has floor to ceiling glass window that offers the best view of Mayon. Seeing her in all her glory was truly breathtaking. The only downside is that I think the glass window doesn’t have a privacy tint and it’s facing the road so people will see you. Everything else considered, this will be my go-to hotel when I go...

We stayed at Hotel Herencia for a corporate trip after enduring a 15-hour land travel, expecting at least a decent place to rest, but unfortunately, this hotel was a huge letdown.
First, the toilet and bath were completely unsanitary, with clogged drains making it impossible to shower comfortably. We asked to transfer rooms, hoping for a better experience, but the second room was even worse. It had the same drainage issue and no telephone line to contact the front desk.
What made things unbearable was the incredibly rude manager. She didn’t even apologize for our experience and had the nerve to say, “Wala na bang concern? Baka pagbaba ko super complain nanaman kayo.” Such an unprofessional and dismissive attitude is unacceptable, especially in the hospitality industry.
There was no room service for the complimentary breakfast either. You have to walk to a nearby restaurant to claim it, which is inconvenient and tiring, especially after a long trip.
If there’s anything good, it’s that the location is accessible, but that’s about the only positive thing I can say.
Would definitely not recommend this place, especially for corporate or long-haul travelers. Avoid if you’re looking for comfort, cleanliness, and...
