Mr. Samgyup Grill and Restaurant Daraga — Restaurant in Daraga

Since I am no longer fond of Romantic Baboy’s Samgyup and Sumo Niku’s Kimchi, we tried this long-standing Samgyup place near our place.

Been hearing good reviews like the place and food is okay, and much cheaper.

And it was actually okay 👍. I specifically love their soup and lettuce salad. I re-ordered MULTIPLE times hahaha no joke. And the deal breaker for me, in every Samgyup place is the KIMCHI. And their Kimchi is really good as well.

The have limited selection of side dishes, but that’s okay. I like their Japchae and Banana and Cucumber ones.

The service is pretty okay. We did not wait that much in every orders we had.

Be sure not to pick Table 3, or unless rhey have fixed it. The fire was not evenly distributed. Hence, at start, we can only cook on one side. I did tell the Kuya but he wasn’t able to fix it. I asked a different Kuya and he offered a different grilling plate so the heat can be distributed evenly. Good thinking si Kuya. Good job!

Since PH12 is no longer available in Albay, will definitely go back to this Samgup place. Never going to Romantic...

Good service onti lang tao. You have to ask for the dips they will not serve it automatically. Php 499 for the unli beef and pork but I don't think I'll go back. Some samgyupsal restaurants I've been to have the same price pero masasabi mo talagang sulit sa sarap. Also, hindi naluto yung egg and cheese (as you can see sa picture) Ganyan pa rin even after we finished eating. I rated 3stars for the good...

Best samgyup in Albay so far. Fast service, clean place, reasonable price, generous servings. Staff are friendly and attends to you fast. Plenty of side dishes (my fave are their lettuce salad and crispy pork sides). They even have free cake if it’s your birthday. Highly...
