HOUSEMATES DORMITEL — Hotel in Davao City

I booked a standard room for 3 nights stay. The hotel charged me 850/night. My room is just beside the lobby. There are of course pros and cons.||||For the Pros:||1. It has a good location. It's just 10 minutes away from the airport, 5 mins away from SM Lanang, and 10 mins away from downtown.||||2. The staffs are great. When you requested for something, they are eager to do errands for you.||||3. It's one of the cheapest but you are sure that the hotel is clean.||||4. Breakfast is served in the canteen and meals are good and very cheap!||||5. Very accessible to public transportation. Taxis and tricycles are the one found in the area.||||CONS:||||1. There are only two outlets which is for the TV and for the Sky cable transmitter (I know, right!)||||2. Cellular phone signals and wifi is not available inside the rooms.||||3. Keycards are sometimes defective,||||||||I wish I can go back to Davao and I will still book...

This is an amazing hotel and you can never go wrong. This hotel offers the biggest bang for your buck. The rooms are clean, very modern, well appointed and even provides toiletries (some 3-star hotels in Europe don't even provide anything). The lobby has a very homey atmosphere, the staff are very courteous and helpful. The beds are so comfortable. The even provide breakfast that is very tasty, (just like a home cooked meal). ||||Location-wise, this hotel is golden, its very close to everywhere and its so convenient. ||||I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Davao. Staff are inhospitable and unwelcoming. Room is too small and can hear noises from other rooms especially when children crying. And also requesting to change the sheet they’ll inform you to do it your own and wash it your own. I stayed so many types of dormitel but others frequently change the sheets and I worked at a hotel before coming here but here is something unusual. Even you experienced some leaking from the air condition they didn’t bother to change the room just put some old towels and they didn’t even bother to take...
