Da West Inn Garden — Hotel in Davao City

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! we checked in late at night after our flight was cancelled and lmost drenced after a heavy rain. despite the stress, we waited and filled in the necessary form, paid for our stay, and gave the secuity deposit. the attendant on duty wasnt helpful. we had a hard time carrying our luggages with some pasalubong boxes plus 4 bottles of water we bought fron her (technically from the hotel), and she just looked at us from a short distamce like as if it was too tasking for her to lead us to our room at back portion of thier annex building. didnt even bother to check if everything was complete in the room, so we had to go back again to the reception and pass through the dark and stoney path of the hotel and under the rain still.. and for the worst part. upon check out, we were already at the airport and lining in for the bag drop counter when my boyfriend noticed that he didnt have his Driver's License with him. we had to rush all the way back to your remote hotel just to get it back! Lo and Behold, we werent mistaken, the id was just there left in the open by their night shift attendant in ther photocopier machine!!! magine the stress, the hassle, and the horror of possbly missing our flight just so we could recover back his license. we also noticed about 5-7 important id's left there, so i guess that wasnt anymore the first time that happened.. we didnt mind the poor water supply and your weak air conditioning unit in the room, but not giving us the proper customer service that every guest deserves was the last straw! if there is only a zero star in here thats what i would...

The location is far from the main road. IF you have a car then it's good. The room is spacious and that's the only positive one I can share. The receptionist is not that friendly and accommodating. The room cable for electricity is not working, you have to charge your phone outside your room which is very inconvenient in my part because you have to check your phone every now and then. Wifi is terrible too. It can barely reach to your room.The TV is not working too. To sum up, my 2 nighta stay is not that...
