We were craving for Korean Food and decided to try Yori Jori Korean Restaurant here at Market Basket Damosa along Mamay Road since they accept credit card as a payment option. From the menu, we ordered the following: Fried Y2 Yangyum – P850 Osam Bulgogi – P400 Yukgaejang – P400 Tteokbokki – P250 Rice – P300 Total – P2,200 Food – We were a bit disappointed with the service — the chicken, which was supposed to be our main dish and had the biggest serving among all our orders, took way too long to arrive. It came out after we had already finished everything else, including all the banchan. A shame, really, because the chicken was delicious, but by the time it was served, we were basically done eating. As for the rest of the food — it was okay, but honestly, not as memorable as we hoped. Portions were on the small side, and it felt a bit misleading because the serving trays looked big, but the actual food on them wasn’t much. We can’t say for sure if this is truly ‘authentic’ Korean-tasting food, but it’s definitely different from what we’re used to. Service – quite slow and not as friendly as other Korean Restaurants. Price – pricey, really. It might be the rent, or the location, or combination of both, or some other reasons that we are not aware, but there are better options than Yori Jori, if you ask me. Parking – plenty of parking within the Damosa Complex. Accessibility – Public Vehicles pass by Damosa Complex by way of JP Laurel and Mamay Road, so it’s highly accessible. Restaurant is between Modoo Korean Restaurant and Hoon Bakery. MOP – they accept widely used payment options: Cash, Debit and Credit Cards, and E-wallets.

The restaurant is owned and managed by korean nationals, and their cook is also korean so you know you're getting your moneys worth in terms of tasting authentic korean cuisine. Aside from that, you immediately know a place serves good food when you see foreigners eat there. When you go inside the restaurant, it's quite unassuming and you'll feel like you're in one of those korean shows because of the interior. As for the prices, it's a bit pricey because they don't serve small dishes. Most if not all of their dishes are for sharing so I would recommend going here in groups of 3 or 4. To start off, we didn't order the pork grill set, but we still got their side dishes and let me tell you, you're gonna get full with their side dishes alone. The kimchi and the pickled cucumber were very spicy which was great. They serve as good palate cleansers after each bite of the main dishes. As for the main dishes, we ordered the gimbap which was very packed with a lot of stuff. They were not stingy with the ingredients and even without the dipping sauce, it was still flavorful. We also got their crispy fried chicken. We only ordered half since it was just two of us eating, but it was still quite a lot. Even without any dipping sauces, it was still flavorful. The crunchiness was not painful on the mouth when you chew on them. Lastly, we got the ojingeo which is made of squid. They also did not skimp on the squid meat which was great. It was also flavorful and savory which I definitely would recommend. I will definitely go back to try their other food!

Food portion is good for 2-3 persons. I had high hopes coming here, but the food tasted mid, though I liked the side dish compared to other Korean restaurants. For our orders, I liked the Yukgaejang but not the Jeyuk Bokkeum. It was also a bit pricey, and for me it wasn’t really worth it. Price ranges from 200 for simple meals to 800(?). Our orders were 400 each. Servers were Korean (maybe the owners?) and there was one Filipina who was rude, she’s all smiles but still condescending and refused to do our simple request.

In menu 1 order sumgyp is 500 pesos Server is approved is good for 2 persons They served 1 order as like on this picture. After we are done they get payment 1000 pesos. In receipt 2 orders. But in fact 2 persons sharing 1 order. That's why I leave 1 star since in Davao sangyp price 300-600 good for 2 persons. My advice to the team of restaurant: guys, if you are going to get money from 2 heads you must to add 2 portions of salad, kimchi and else. Not one portion only and get double price! And also you need to inform your customers that price will double. Cause it's already scam. Have a good day! Additionally have a call to management to clarify situation. The person on call approved that if I paid for one order only but I shared it i must to pay for 2 orders. And if stuff did not explain that you will order 1 only set but you will get only 1 set without additional side dishes for 2 persons but you will pay double price it's a fold is customer but not a stuff. Information that you will pay per head did not mention in a menu even. Management no have reaction. Simple sumgyp eatery but price most expensive than all places in Davao. Highly not recommend. Only negative...
