Pros:
The campsite location is beautiful Breakfast is good, the cooking personal takes full care of breakfast specification and provides them on time. You can rent motorbike for free of cost
Cons: The place is too far. It’s not in the main city, this location is not included in any of the pick up/drop locations in el nido group tours. It’s far away from the main city. The owners/receptionist is rude. We had informed about our late check in time but they kept complaining. They even refused to provide clean towels for the days we were staying in the hotel. The rooms are very small. Even though the sq ft mentioned is decent for a small room, the roof height is less hence you can only walk in the centre.
Update:
The speedometer was fine, no one touched it, we in fact gave back with more fuel than what we took.
The bathrooms are shared, there were 10 other people using it. I don’t know how they knew it was us who kept the water running.
The towel, we are sensible enough to not use them in beach. Yet they questioned us 5 times like a criminal and used that as a reason to not provide fresh towels.
They do this blame game with other people as well to look good in comments. There are tons of stays in el nido with much better hosts. Please do not...
Read moreThe owners are good people. Very welcoming and friendly. Their motorcycle rental service is perfect and actually they brought me hope that good service is available in that country. However accommodation wise it was a nightmare for me. I hope it gets better over time! The camp is near construction so the noise starts from 8 AM and it is ghastly. If you need peace and private space, I don't recommend that place for now. There is no hot water and the WiFi is really bad. Bungallow number one is in front of the kitchen which is mostly occupied from the owners and during that time they speak loud and as the huts are with very very thin walls it is impossible to relax or have a nap in the afternoon. The other huts should be better in that matter. The hut looks bigger on the pictures but actually is pretty small and claustrophobic. I'm 1.85 and had a hard time staying upright. Otherwise the place is very clean and it's in a peaceful neighbourhood. Also there is no liquid soap in the sinks or in the showers. Unfortunately the above negatives are valid for a lot of accommodations in El Nido. FYI Filipinos don't care about making noise. Loud motorcycles, karaoke in the morning, construction. You should adapt, or as I did leave immediately. That place is not ready...
Read moreStayed here for 3 nights. Had a below average experience. Goods: Room was good and well cleaned. Location is not at the center but it was as described.
Bad: The lady running the place was crass and rude. It started the minute we arrived. We could not make it by the check in time as the transport van ran out of fuel midway (we kept them updated about the events). The lady was visibly irritated and complained about the engine noise of the van (it was night time). I immediately asked the driver to switch off the van. she then started complaining that it'll make even more noise when switched back on 😭. There are many other incidents like being blamed for things we didn't do and refusing to change the bath towels even once a day. blaming us for taking it to the beach when we didn't etc.
Overall I had an amazing time at the Philippines and interacted with so many amazing human beings and different cities but never met someone this rude. Please do yourself a favour and avoid...
