Really expensive for what it is and the service. I called and was given a price over the phone. When I arrived the price was almost double. Dirty room; (Under the bed the housekeeping I think has never been done since the hotel exists) Food frankly not so good for what it is. The boss spends her days at the restaurant smoking while there is a big sign prohibiting smoking. When you look at the menu it's the same picture for all dishes and the waitress is unable to explain the difference between the dishes. Been frequenting this resort for many years and know the grumpy old Austrian owner Wolfgang well.||The fact is the place is mid range throughout; food, service, quality, rooms, deli shop, etc. are all just average and nothing great ||BUT what it does offer is a respite away from the hustle and dust of the congestion as the main house is situated amidst a lush green tropical forest surrounded by private room clusters in the garden.||There is a pool and the local expat tennis club plays frequently in the single court they offer which adds a bit to the flair as foreigners are seen frequenting this place.||A German product based deli and bake shop along with a wine cellar which can be used for private events are...

Been here a few times and we used to sit outside by the swimming pool and have a meal and a few drinks and just chill as well as spending a fare bit of money …… but then WOW the last time we went they wanted 400 pesos for us both just to sit by the pool and eat although they said we could still sit inside to eat for free, such a shame really when greed takes over as it will be them who will be losing out not us as we won’t be going again ( lucky we never paid as it poured down anyway ) …… so we decided to go to the beach just down the road and had a great day even...
