OYO 685 K Fortune Apartelle — Hotel in Lapu-Lapu

Tried to contact them 5 days prior to arrival to ask for an early check in.. No response whatsoever.. Arrived early since the previous night the hotel was not fully occupied to ask for an early check in but they said no early check ins. Fair enough..

Tried to use their laundry service next door and the staff tried to overcharge us.

We paid via GCash but they were saying for at least 1 hour they did not receive it while it was showning as arrived payment.

Then they cancelled our booking (on booking) and tried to charge us a no show fee after I had already checked in..

After contacting booking they cancelled our reservation even though we already had paid them.

Avoid at all costs.. Their staff is unfriendly...

This was a nice place trying to be a great place but not quite getting there. The staff were nice and mostly helpful, but the room had issues. The wood floor was very warped sure to the soaking it took during the Typhoon, which made it nosey and prone to making one trip and stumble when walking around the room. The shower need to have a water heater.

The real problem was the television, which has blown speakers and needed to be replaced. When told about this problem the staff said they would let the manager know, but the issues did not get dealt with and we were without a television for our stay.

I will try this place again in the future for sure, but for this time it could have been...

Very decent accommodation that is still accessible to the main city. For its price, it's bang for the buck. Staff are very nice too and very accommodating. There's one catch though, be prepared to get lost a bit. I was following google maps but it seemed to have led me to a wrong destination, thus spending more on taxi fare. The management can work better on this regard. Otherwise, It's recommended!

TIP: Stay on the roof deck on sunset, it's a nice place to hang out. There's not much but its nice to be up above while looking at the busy...
