Prince Ludwig Beach Resort — Hotel in Luzon

We first rented the nipa hut rooms and their shower and comfort rooms are separate. Our door cannot be locked. The room was small. There are no place to hang your towels or clothes so you might want to hold that towel tightly around your body haha!

Guys, if you're looking for luxury, don't book at Prince Ludwig. BUT if you want great service and great location, this is definitely the place!

Kuya Noel and Ate Carlyn and their kids (they are the caretakers I believe) are amazing! I traveled with my husband who is a foreigner and 2 small kids. We are based in the US. We have been traveling in the Philippines for 5 months now. And so I have been to numbers of air bnbs and hotels. I say kuya Noel and ate Carlyn gave us exceptional service. You can ask them to cook for you with small fee. They cleaned the place everyday. Their kids are so nice they played with our kids nicely. My husband said it's like we stayed in a friend's house.

Pundaquit is the jumpstart to the beautiful islands in San Antonio - Anawangin Cove, Capones, Camara, Nagsasa... People here are nice and kind, helpful and meek. Our room's door was open and we didn't lose anything! We later upgraded to a concrete fan room for a night before we left.

We had so much fun! We hope we can go back and explore Capones Island more! I highly recommend this place guys. They have nipa huts with shower rooms and more comfortable rooms with ac if you want. They are in air bnb....

The staff are very accommodating. Their hospitality is commendable. Up to the smallest requests and needs from their guests are provided. No wonder why their resort is almost full during our visit.

There is a common kitchen where everything can be used provided that you have to clean/wash it before returning. There is also a common cr/shower that guests may use. There are also bins for bio and non-biodegradable stuff. Amazingly, there is an "officially" designated smoking area, although I was told by a staff member that someone can smoke near their rooms/cottages.

There are stray cats and dogs from in and out of the resort. Although they are just few, like two or three, it can still present danger to some. So if you plan to bring your fur babies, you might want to secure yours. One of the dogs can be seen in the pictures I uploaded, begging my...

Carlene & Noel and their family are wonderful hosts… but that’s the only positive here!||||If you like:||- a beach so crowded with boats it’s difficult to walk||- non-stop, blaring karaoke on the beach||- trashy streets ||- cockroaches in your room||- dog poo in the sand next to your room entry||||then I think you will be ok at Prince Ludwig. Pundaquit has some charm. It’s a funky little place, the people are nice, the islands are beautiful, and if you get away from the main harbor the beaches are quiet and clean.||||If you decide to come here, I suggest you look for other places to stay. Agoda and Booking.com have only a couple of places listed but actually there are many small resorts much nicer than Prince Ludwig. Honestly, the German owner of this place should be ashamed. The only thing making this place bearable...
