Go Hotels Otis - Manila — Hotel in Manila

I am currently in my 7th day of quarantine in this hotel. There are 12 of us from our company who are currently in here. We are already almost 2 months in hotel quarantine in different hotels and yet this hotel management put us in rooms without windows. We and our company requested us to be transferred to rooms with windows, but on our 7th day, only 4 of us were transferred. I worry for my mental health in this kind of hotel. I have called the front desk quite a few times to follow-up the room and they just give me excuses. But get this, we know that there are vacant rooms with windows and they are putting their newly arrived guests in there. Extra towels have to be paid😮 My toilet ceiling is leaking water. Wifi connection is slow. Air-conditioning is centralized and thermostat isn't working.(works as thermometer only). Quarantine food ration rating for me is 5/10. Only one towel provided. No electric kettle in rooms. Edit: Finally transferred to a room with window on my 8th day of quarantine after a number of follow-up to the FO. Thermostat is working iny new room and thank God it has a window. If you plan to stay for a day or two and you are in a tight budget, yes you could avail the rooms without windows. As of this writting,i'm on my third day of stay here. I will be staying here for a couple of days more for my quarantine prior departure. Hotel receptionist is polite and professional in dealing with guest. Safety health protocols are being observed. Hotel security on the ground floor is also good. Hotel room is very nice considering its price is less than 2k. The bed is comfortable. Air condition is centralize and working very well. Shower ( hot and cold) is working properly. Its just that there are some minor issues that I want to emphasize like mechanical vents are not working,making air flow inside the room limited. Internet Wifi connection is free and available inside the room but not that strong. For some times I have to use my mobile data for connection since I am doing some online video conference. Lastly, may i suggest to have slippers on room. As of this moment I am satified on my stay here. Before I forget, the food is excellent!! Breakfast, lunch and dinner panalo!!kabitin sa sarap 🙂...

After my stay and quarantine I will make...

I rated it low due to the following reasons. Room ok clean, could find dirt around in the room just when I checked in, around the wash basin area. Hence, I asked to clean the room daily, which I generally do not do.

Had a lot of trouble with the door to open. Several times, I had to walk back to the reception for assistance. You have to pull the door before pushing. Obviously, that is not something normal.

The wifi is terrible, keeps going low, and can't connect.

The bathroom door as well will not lock as it is not alligened, not much of an issue but offocurse when you try it, you notice it.

One garbage bin only and in the toilet, which is broken. So every time you need to go to the toilet if you need to trash away something

I saw reviwes stating lot of restaurants nearby, only 1 ok restaurant, rest a few fast food restaurants at the mall, so also dissapotining. Otherwise, even with all the above challenges, if there were some good joints to hang out, it would be nice to forget about the room.

Overall, very sad and poor amenities are not worth at all. Just because of all the team members is the reason why I scored it decent....
