Diving Addiction Resort, Panglao Bohol — Hotel in Panglao

The room was nice on the photo, but it’s dirty in reality and the water at the bathroom smells really bad like super bad!! and the water doesn’t drain at all and it’ll started to flood outside the bathroom. Also, We wanted to go swimming, however the hotel pool was so dirty. We asked the person in charge if they can clean the pool. They said that they cannot clean the pool because someone borrowed the pool pump and did not return it!! What a shame!! It’s full of bugs floating in the pool and worms underneath the pool. Even if it’s raining, it shouldn’t be like that!! They are required to clean the pool EVERY SINGLE DAY!! Regardless if it’s raining or not!!!

I CAN’T BELIEVE I LET MY 6yo DAUGHTER SWIM HERE! But not that long because we cannot take the bugs and worms and dirt anymore!!

Also, when the staffs are cleaning the room, they smoke at the same time topless with no shirt on! Trash every where the hallway.

I wanted to go outside at 12AM to buy some foods, when I opened my room door, not a single light was on at the hallway and it’s so dark!! Is that a proper way to run a hotel with a customer staying in?? I called them to please turn on the lights which they did after a few minutes. However, when I reached the front desk, the staffs were drinking alcohol while on shift!! I remember it was the lady with a bright smile and the driver of the van and the dark guy who’s always cleaning the room while smoking shirtless! I know they were drinking alcohol because I can smell them from a far.

Be cautious about this hotel! The staff here will steal money!We stayed for two consecutive nights. On the second afternoon, while we were playing in the pool, the staff initially seemed friendly and even taught us how to swim. However, when we returned to our room, we noticed two new bottles of water and discovered that 1,000 pesos were missing after checking our belongings. We immediately contacted our guide, who advised us to stay calm until he arrived. Once he came, the receptionist admitted to entering our room and returned the 1,000 pesos.Throughout the entire incident, no one apologized. We thought the matter was settled, but later they refused to help us call for a car as they had promised. The next day, we planned to check out early due to a scheduled diving trip and had informed them in advance. However, during checkout, the staff pretended to be asleep and refused to process it (even though we had paid a 2,000-peso deposit upon check-in). It took a long time before they reluctantly completed the process.Additionally, the condition of the room was terrible. Upon entering, there was a strong smell of cleaning chemicals, but the room wasn’t properly cleaned and was slippery.
