South Palms Resort and Spa Panglao - MGallery Collection — Hotel in Panglao

The resort is brand new and the facilities are clean. The breakfast is buffet and the options are decent as well as tasty. However, for the price paid, I would have expected more attention to details. For example, the staff took over 1 hour to deliver the luggage to our room upon arrival. Similarly, one day we ordered just two drinks to the room and they took a long time to bring them. Another day we requested a buggy ride to the reception and they asked to wait 10-15 min for the car to come to pick us. The walk is just a couple of minutes - How is it possible that we have to wait for so long to get a ride? It should be much more quicker, especially considering that there are not so many guests. One time I forgot my room key at one of the hotel's restaurants. The staff found it but didn't call us or come to find us to let us aware. As I said, there were not so many guests and the key had the room number in it, so this situation should be very easy to solve. Instead, I had to figure it out all by myself by going back to the restaurant and asking to the staff. I told them to bring the key card to the room and they said no problem, but after waiting outside the room for 15-30 minutes, no one came and I had to go to the reception myself. In addition, every time I called to the reception, I got called by my partner's surname, which was annoying. The gym has almost no equipment, which is not what I would expect from a five star resort. There is a billiard, but not much else extra to have fun. Overall, my experience was not the best for the high price paid, so I don't think I will ever come back to this...

From the moment we arrived at South Palms Resort and Spa MGallery, we were completely enchanted. The resort is absolutely stunning — a true tropical paradise with beautifully landscaped grounds, a white sand beach, rich marine life, and the view of Bohol Sea that take your breath away.

The facilities were excellent, with spacious rooms, inviting pools, and well-thought-out restaurants and bar. We especially appreciated the small touches that made a big difference, like the locally inspired decor and eco-friendly amenities.

One of the most memorable parts of our stay was the sunset ritual at Sirenna Bar. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the resort came alive with a beautiful, symbolic ceremony led by a “Sirena” (mermaid). It was such a unique and soulful experience — a celebration of nature, culture, and connection.

What truly set this resort apart, though, was the incredible staff. Every single person we encountered was warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Their hospitality was genuine, and it made our stay feel even more special.

We were also impressed by the resort’s commitment to sustainability — it’s clear that South Palms MGallery is not only a luxurious getaway but also one that respects and cares for its natural surroundings and local community.

Overall, it was an amazing experience — peaceful, rejuvenating, and memorable in every way. I'm so glad we picked this resort to celebrate my birthday week. We’re already planning our next trip. Highly recommended, and we will...

We recently had the chance to visit the newly opened resort, and it was truly a wonderful experience. While we have yet to try the full amenities of the resort itself, we dined at their restaurant and were very impressed.||The food was delicious and well-prepared, offering both familiar favorites and dishes with a fresh twist. Each serving was flavorful, and you could tell that attention to detail was given not only in taste but also in presentation. It felt like a perfect balance between quality and comfort dining.||What stood out the most, however, was the level of service. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to make sure guests felt welcome and taken care of. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and efficiency, which made the entire dining experience even more enjoyable.||On top of that, the place itself is amazing.
