You would think that during a Covid Pandemic this Hotel would at Least clean their AC filter! This is The Worst hotel I've ever stayed in in my 61 year's of exsistance. There contact number doesn't work. Because the Country added a 8 to the begging of the number But it still don't work even if you add an 8.I contacted your chat line on the 7th about it because I'm a disabled person and I needed a 1st floor. We'll once I arrived in the evening of June 8th. I requested a 1st floor room. To my surprise. Only a 3rd floor room was available. I was very tired having traveled all day. It was late and I was 5 kilometers from the airport. And Manila has a curfew. Well I decided for my safety I would stay because I have a 14 hour layover. I'm taking 4 airlines through 5 Airports on 48 hour's. Well at least the receptionist carried my luggage up to my room. Well. #1 The air con isn't cold. #2 The air con filter is Filthy. #3 The toilet don't flush. #4 The bed cover has a big stain. #5 The sheets have stains. #6 The shower is dirty #7 The toilet doesn't flush. I am not a rich person so I was in a bind and could book something else at the last minute especially with the totality of the situation at hand. I've attached photos of said hotel and I'm humbly requesting a Full Refund due conditions beyond my control. And I will be giving a bad review of same hotel and informing the Proper Authorities about this establishment ias well. Hopefully you fix this or I'll be forced to start using Trip Advisor again. I'm also a Google Local Guide and yelp reviewer as well. Thanks ||Mark Swenor||You would think that during a Covid Pandemic this Hotel would at Least clean their AC filter! Read moreIt is not far from International arrivals, so you can get a "Grab" or even a taxi. It isn't easy to find and it is on a narrow street full of people, kids and dogs in the evening. But you get out and walk up to the desk and they will take care of you. They will even get some food for you if it is late or you don't want to venture out, like Jollibee or McDonalds. As is the case in nearly all asian run hotels in the Philippines, the key card is attached to another card that fits in a slot next to the door which turns on the lights and the A/C. So the room will be warm and you have to wait for awhile for it to cool down. Most rooms do not have a refrigerator or a microwave. But they have hot and cold water. The hot water is provided by an "in-line" heater in the shower mounted on the wall. When it detects the hot water valve opening, it will heat the water. You don't have to mess with it.||They will get you a taxi if you do not have "Grab" (an Uber type service). Most of these hotels are just to sleep in overnight. It is clean and smells good. ||There are never any wash cloths (hand cloths) because that is not a "thing" here. So, it is good to bring one over here if you need to wash "normally" or get a scrungee at a local store.||Always arrive at the airport early for any flights. There are ALWAYS some delays because it is in the middle of several countries with airlines who don't really have a concept of service and keeping a time schedule like we do in the USA and other countries. Don't forget, if you haven't paid for your carry on bags if you are flying domestic in the Philippines, it will cost a lot more than pre-paying. Try to pay with pesos too, it is faster and easier for them if you forgot to prepay. they have a limit in KG of 8KG for carry-on. So, when you weigh the carry-on and it is over, stuff the heavy stuff in your pockets! Ha! I wouldn't have done that, but I was in a pickle and and the lady told me to do it. It is probably frowned up though, so, Caveat emptor.||||When you go back to the airport (Manila) you will be screened when you first come into the airport. Have your passport ready then. After you get your ticket, you will go through the real screening before you go to the gates.||||As always, while in the Philippines, keep your wits about you, stay with your group and avoid going out at night if at all possible unless you...
Read moreI'll get straight to the point(+Somewhat detailed of surrounding area):
1,000 peso deposit upon check in. 250 pesos early check-in fee. 50 pesos for EXTRA blanket(they are REALLY THIN)
Rooms are on the small end, you get what you pay/paid for, AC blows cold.
Bathroom is SMALL, if you're a taller person, your knees may hit the wall when taking care of business. There's a bidet(clean your privates with a spray of water) next to the toilet and there's hot water with the shower system. Bring/buy your own TP if that's what you're accustomed to. You can purchase pretty much all necessary stuff in the mini stores in the surrounding neighborhood for cheap! The locals will know you're not from around there, just communicate with them, they're good people.
Some things to be wary of:
*The in-room sink is shallow, water will splash everywhere. *Bathroom floor is SLIPPERY WHEN WET! watch your step!
Room comes with some free toothpaste, brushes, fridge, small table and chairs.
Local food is good in the neighborhood. Go out to the highway, bank a right and walk straight. There's more local food shops to your right as you inhale the fumes from passing vehicles. The families that run them are VERY nice and friendly, would rate them all 5*, extremely helpful! Keep walking further past the next overpass and there's like 7-10 carenderia's to the right and a 7-11 for some more fancy stuff. Also banks.
Go across the overpass to get to baclaran(outdoor shopping) VIA jeep and it's also near the mal(SM Mall of Asia). Otherwise not too many things to do in the surrounding area...
