We went to Calle at 9465 for my birthday last September 14, 2025. Upon entrance, we were greeted with a sleek, modern interior alongside extremely welcoming staff.

We were also served complementary bread (at 8 pieces too! Very generous) alongside some herb butter. The bread was soft and pillowy while the butter was flavourful and creamy.

We availed the a la carté menu for dinner, and here’s what we got:

• Mais Con Yelo Cocktail: 9/10 ⭐️

Very sweet and creamy, but it’s balanced out by the rum, making it for a pleasant drink.

• Basilio Cocktail: 8/10 ⭐️

Refreshing and zesty!

• Okoy: 8/10 ⭐️

It’s not the typical crispy okoy you usually get - it feels more like an omelette than anything. It’s also served with a sour cream-esque sauce rather than vinegar, but it’s still delicious and you can taste the shrimp.

• Roast Beef (solo) - 9/10 ⭐️

AMAZING. The flavours were very meaty and robust and the meat was just melt-in-your-mouth goodness. The peppercorn sauce complemented it very well and the mashed potatoes were also buttery and creamy.

• Calle Sisig (solo) - 8/10 ⭐️

Really good! It wasn’t as crispy as I preferred it, but the sauce (which I suspect to be liver paté) was rich and it worked well with the meat. The toppings also help cut through the richness so you don’t get that ‘umay’. You still need to eat some rice with it, though.

• Salmon al Forno (solo) - 10/10 ⭐️

Easily my favourite of the evening: the salmon was delicate and soft, with the skin being very crisp. The adlai rice was also perfectly cooked with it also being flavourful by itself. Also despite it being marked as solo it is still a pretty big portion!

• Ube Basque Burnt Cheesecake - 11/10 ⭐️

Amazing. Simple amazing. The cheesecake was smooth, and you could really taste the ube in the batter. Easily one of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever had.

• Bilo-Bilo Cocktail - 9/10 ⭐️

Not pictured, but it was also a delightful drink! It was creamy with a hint of ube, but it wasn’t cloyingly sweet as you’d expect.

I also got a complementary caramel sponge cake for my birthday, which was a gesture I really appreciated. My brother also availed the Unlimited Cocktails promo that comes with presenting a boarding pass scheduled within 3 days of your restaurant visit.

The servers and the bartender were also exceptionally friendly: our server Ian was patient and warm and also very accommodating with us. We would make jokes and banter with them, and the overall vibe just felt very homey.

The place itself was very gorgeous too. The bathrooms made you feel like you were inside a hotel, and there was even an art gallery by the hall. The open kitchen made the space look bigger too.

Only drawback would be that it takes a while for your food to get served - they do cook it to order which makes sense, but be prepared to wait.

Overall, this place is a hidden gem; you’d never really expect a restaurant this amazing with its location. It’s a bit more on the high-end price-wise, but every dish was worth it. Hopefully we can come back here for the tasting menu. Highly recommended...

Place is very classy and gives off speak easy vibes. There is a gallery of sorts on the hallway going to the second floor. The restrooms on the second floor was cleverly hidden so it didn't stop the flow of the design of the place.

The staff are very neat and friendly. They are attentive and ensured that our goblets are always with water and that we were comfortable. The quality of their service is as high quality as their food. We had one of their rooms ont the second floor (accomodates 10pax) which overlooks the parking lot. When I saw that the rest of our party was coming, I left my bag and gift in the room and waited until our party is complete before we returned upstairs. My stuff was untouched and was safe even if the room was left open and that some of the staff has come in to set plates, etc.

They have a tasting menu (currently 8 courses), which is perfect for those date nights and they also serve family style, which has plenty of serving for everyone.

Food was superb. Even the complimentary bread and butter is delicious. They serve elevated Filipino cuisine. Their version ceasar salad (with tinapa) was yummy and refrsshing take. Crispy Pata is a must try as well as their take of Kare-Kare. The paella is worth the wait with robust flavors. Salmon was cooked perfectly, flaky and not dry with the sauce not overpowering. I couldn't try the baby back ribs cause it was too spicy for my palate (for reference how weak I am against spicy food, I find Vcut bbq too spicy and have to drink milk after eating it) but the rest of the family ate it with much gusto so I believe it is...

We recently celebrated an intimate gathering here and while the food had some highlights, our overall experience was disappointing.

We had pre-ordered our meal (a set menu for 8-12 people) to avoid the long wait mentioned on the menu (30-40 minutes per dish). However, the wait was still significant. We were served bread and butter upon arrival, but the salad arrived 40-50 minutes later, leaving us quite hungry.

The food arrived in a staggered manner, making it difficult to enjoy the meal together. While some dishes were excellent, such as the paella and sisig, others fell short. The pasta was overly saucy, and the porchetta, though generously portioned, lacked the expected crispy skin. The desserts were also underwhelming.

Our service experience was also subpar. Our server, Lester, was well-intentioned, but his approach was intrusive. He spent an extended period of time conversing with one guest, neglecting the rest of the table. For a group of 11, having only one server resulted in slow service, despite the pre-ordered meal.

Furthermore, the takeaway experience was disappointing. We requested the leftovers be divided equally among our group, but upon returning home, we found an uneven distribution of dishes.

While the food showed some promise, the long wait times, subpar service, and the issues with the takeaway order significantly impacted our enjoyment of the celebration. We recommend that the restaurant address these concerns to improve the overall...
