Positive Aspects:
Fantastic Location: The Microtel by Wyndham UP Technohub is conveniently situated in an ideal location. Its proximity to prominent attractions, malls, and transportation links makes it an excellent choice for travelers.
Impeccably Clean Rooms: The cleanliness of the rooms at the hotel is commendable. The housekeeping staff, particularly Vien, did an exceptional job in maintaining the rooms spotless throughout our stay.
Extensive Breakfast Buffet: The wide variety of options offered in the breakfast buffet was impressive. We found ourselves spoiled for choice with the delicious and diverse selections available. Kudos to Chef.
Excellent Customer Service: We were pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service provided by Joy and Jane from Millie’s during breakfast. Even though we arrived precisely at 10 a.m. because our kids woke up late, they were kind enough to accommodate us and allowed us to enjoy our breakfast without any hassle.
Would also like to commend the Concierge, Security, and Maintenance Staff.
Negative Aspects:
TV Issue upon Arrival: Unfortunately, we encountered a problem with the TV not working in our room upon arrival past 12midnight. It would be advisable for the hotel to conduct regular checks to ensure all amenities are in proper working order to avoid inconveniences for guests.
Endorsement Concerns with Front Desk: We experienced a lack of proper endorsement procedures during our stay. It would be beneficial for the hotel management to review and improve their endorsement process to ensure a seamless experience for guests.
Lack of Consideration from Front Desk: We were disappointed by the lack of consideration and helpfulness shown by the front desk staff. It would greatly enhance the guest experience if the front desk staff displayed a more empathetic and accommodating attitude.
Short Story: Breakfast Request
We certainly understand the policy about the Breakfast Time “until 10 am” only because we are also managing a Resort, but a little consideration will make a HUGE difference and impact on each guest.
Around 9:53 a.m., we asked the Front Desk if we could still have breakfast because the kids had just woken up. We did not interrupt their sleep because they were both tired from our trip. The Front Desk just said, “Breakfast is until 10 am only”. Without even making an effort to communicate to Millie’s Restaurant if they can at least reserve a food even just a plated one will do. What is more annoying is that they hang up the phone even if you are still not done talking. As far as I know, you are not supposed to hang up on a guest just like that without even asking if they still have any more requests, queries, or concerns. The guest should end the call first, not the Front Desk.
Overall, our stay at Microtel by Wyndham UP Technohub was enjoyable, as expected, like our experience in other branch (Pampanga and near MOA).
However, there were a few areas of improvement, such as the TV issue upon arrival and the concerns regarding the front desk's endorsement process and service. We hope that the hotel management addresses these concerns to provide an even better experience for...
Read moreExcellent customer service (this where the 2-star is coming from), but there are several things that might be ok for some but not for others.
I am changing from 2- star to 1 star. The 1-star went to the guy who was opening the door and also the woman who helped with the Grab transportation.
I wanted to check out 30-45 mins prior to me leaving for the airport. The guy from the front desk said, he said it's ok and that I could just turn in my keys. I asked him if I need to sign anything, and he said. "No need". Soooo..my driver came and I rushed downstairs so I don't miss my 11:20am flight. I gave my keys. Again, I asked the guy if need to sign anything. He said, everything is good. Then, I was in the car and he stopped me and said they need to check the room. I said what the""""". I told him I have to leave because I am going to miss my flight. I should not left any tip in the room for them. I left.
It's very disappointing because they are carrying the name "WYNDHAM" and Wyndham has an excellent reputation but certainly not demonstrated here at Microtel UP Wyndham Technohub.

Read moreSo, my thoughts on the Microtel by Wyndham in Quezon City. When we first arrived at the hotel, our first impression was that the hotel was clean. We arrived around 12 noon local time, and although our check-in was not until 2 p.m., they advised us our room was available. We did notice that they seemed to be understaffed even though this was prime holiday season. There was no bell hop available, and we ended up taking our bags to the room on our own. When it came to the room itself, it was clean neat and seemed to have most of what we needed. There was no iron in the room. However, they had a community iron and board in the hallway, which we could use. They had an odd policy on breakfast. Our room did not come with complimentary breakfast. However, if we ordered each day in advance, we could get a discount of 500 p per person. If not, it was 650p. It seemed a bit odd forcing us to commit to eating breakfast at the hotel and not allowing for flexibility. They did not have onside laundry services, but they did work with a local laundromat who would pick up your laundry at a cost of 350p per kg. The breakfast was a bit hit or miss. Most Days the eggs were cold, and the food was not on par with the price. However, the dinner was a different story. We ate there one evening and loved the meal. All in all, for the price, it's a good option. Just don't expect 4 star...
