Khas Food House is a canteen inside the guarded UP School of Urban and Regional Planning institution.

They are open even on Saturdays.

To park your vehicle, you need to enter the SURP Lane.

They have budget-friendly meals with a level of spiciness in the menu, and it has a indian food included on the said menu.

The area is airconditioned, and there is a table where you face the aircon to relieve you from scorching heat of noontime.

It has self-service water for free, where you get a refill for yourself.

I ordered a Cititop fiesta, UP owned version of rice set consisting of chicken lollipop, keema meat, shredded cabbage, and local beef.

Toilets, however, are separate from the canteen. The...

Excellent value for money, while providing authentic Middle Eastern food in a Filipino setting. This place evokes for me fond memories of fellowship with friends over lunch and bonding with family after Friday prayers.

Since I was a student, and every time I am in town from Canada, I never fail to patronize one of UP DIliman's hallowed food institutions. I do not hesitate to take my foreign guests here.

In 15 years, Khas has certainly gone a long way from being a tent-covered affair beside the Swimming Pool area, to now being an airconditioned watering hole within the School of Urban & Regional Planning for the movers and shakers of the...

I tried the garlic rice topping (upon the server’s recommendation when I asked what the bestseller is) and lasi drink. It’s somewhat underwhelming. The meal, for its quality, could’ve been cheaper: it tastes like it was just thrown together. The lasi was watery and thin. I asked for a straw but they didn’t have one, and offered instead that I should buy one. Honestly I feel like their other offerings might be better, since they offer mainly Indian food, and that this wasn’t actually the best thing on their menu. I might try this place again next time, just to give it a chance, but it won’t be my...

Attached are photos of the place's interior and menu. Inside it has functioning aircon, self-service water, dilnet/upd wifi, and dining tables for one, two, and up to approximately eight occupants. The price range is that of a typical Filipino restaurant, so it's not that student-friendly in my opinion. However, their food variety seems excellent. They offer local and international meals. For trial, I ordered a fruit shake and it was tasty but pricey (75 pesos for one mug). I am yet to try and rate some of the meals. According to a waitress, they are open Monday to Saturday from 7am to 9pm.
