Gratchi's Getaway — Hotel in Silang

If you are for nature tripping, looking for adventure activities, then this is for you. I could have given it higher rating but there are things which is not available during our visit (like the longer ATV route) and if there are no minimum people required in doing the activities.

Pool - the pool is nice and clean. The depth is from 3 feet (at the center) to 5 feet the deepest. There is jacuzzi or kidde pool but it is not functioning when we visited. Activities - there are a lot of activities you can do here but for a fee. We did zipline and ATV only as those are the ones that interests us and meets the minimum number of participants (zipline 3 people, ATV needs to have driver's license, other country's license is honored). The high ropes need 5 people as minimum so we were not able to do it. Cottage - cottage is big and is included in the day trip. It is your tyoical nippa hut but the flooring seems to be weak in design as it has suffered holes. Food - food is good and plenty! Day trip includes morning snack (arroz caldo), lunch is chicken, fish fillet and mushroom kare-kare. The pineapple is very sweet and you can still request for rice if you want. Afternoon snack is a big bowl of ginataang halo-halo which has lots of langka (jack fruit) although this one is on the sweet side. Ambiance - it is nature so expect a lot of greens in the area. Overall, I had a mixed experience during my stay at Gratchi's Getaway. While the personnel were friendly and accommodating, there were several areas that need improvement.

Firstly, I found the food selection, taste, and price to be below my expectations. The variety of options available was limited, and the overall taste of the food was average at best. Additionally, the prices seemed to be on the higher side considering the quality of the meals provided. I would suggest expanding the food selection, enhancing the taste of dishes, and reassessing the pricing to offer better value to customers.

Secondly, the rooms were disappointing. The blankets provided were thin, which made it difficult to stay warm during the night. It would be beneficial to invest in thicker and more comfortable blankets to improve the overall sleep experience for guests. Furthermore, the comfort rooms were remarkably small, making it uncomfortable to move around and use the facilities. We spent our Christmas bonding at this farm resort. We spent 3 days here. Upon arrival at this resort this became one of my favorite staycation spots. We received the true sample of excellent hospitality and customer service. The staff were very helpful in all our needs. The place was well maintained. It felt like an exclusive getaway because each whim has been addressed. The food was deliciously prepared. Location of our room was absolutely perfect and faced the poolside area which made it romantic when the sun sets. It was also spacious and with complete bathroom amenities s and toiletries. Though the resort was void of wifi and television, one can definitely find total relaxation and peace. One of the best part of our stay was the river trekking.
