Booked for a room good for 1 person since I'm travelling alone for work. Cost me around Php800+ with free breakfast so I think it's really worth it.
Pros: owner and staff are very accomodating Towels, liquid soap and shampoo dispenser, bidet (rare find for budget hotels), free bottled water in the room Snacks are available in the room (although of course you have to pay for it upon check out) there's a restaurant on the ground floor, you can order room service. The food is very affordable. (See pics) complete cable tv channel stable wifi connection I had a balcony with a residential view. I think it's good to have too. very spacious room (see the pictures) Split type aircondition Bed and pillows are pretty comfortable except for the sheets (I'll explain on the cons section). alcohol dispenser by the door of the room
Cons: quite far from Tagbilaran city heart although it's near Island City Mall and Plaza Marcela. Everything is just a tricycle away. No telephone in the room. If you want to order something, you can DM them on messenger. (Not a problem really.) My problem with the bed sheet is that it's flat. So imagine having a split type aircondition with a thin sheet covering you. I know I can adjust the temp but I've seen a lot of budget hotels using common blankets nowadays, since I travelled a lot prior pandemic. It gives off extra warmth and comfort than buying expensive duvets/comforters. No hot & cold shower (I guess if you consider the price, then it's ok.) No elevator (I was situated on the 2nd floor so, it wasn't really a problem)
To sum it all up, this place is a gem with their clean and spacious rooms. I like this place. I just hope they do something about the sheets. I will definitely come back whenever I get to visit...
Read moreI recommend Bohol Ecotel. It's my 3rd visit in Tagbilaran and this is the best hotel I've stayed in so far in Tagbilaran City. It's biggest strength is definitely the super friendly and helpful staff, which are at your disposal 24/7. The rooms are about what you'd expect, clean, with good WiFi. The breakfast was ok, the pancakes were tasty and the coffee was good too, you can choose a different breakfast every day (for some items like the coffee Americano/Espresso you need to pay a little extra). The location is a bit of a mixed bag, because on one hand it's really quiet and not far from the malls and the cathedral, but on the other hand you need to walk a bit to catch a vehicle (not a big deal to me personally).
Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and we encourage you to give Bohol Ecotel a chance, should you find yourself staying in...
Read moreBohol Ecotel is a budget hotel with a view of Panglao Island (masarap magKape in the room balcony with the view 😉 well recommended). Easy to find and is located by walking distance to the “plaza” center of Tagbiliran. Staff are very friendly and helpful. You can easily check in hassle free. The rooms are clean and just the right size for a guest need. The CR are clean and ok. Plated breakfast is included in any room chosen. Food is ok, has room for additional improvement.., and pricing is just right. They have ample parking area for guest and has nearby sari-sari store for your small needs. The hotel also has different payment options that will cater guests ( just a heads-up that card payment here will have a 3% surcharge, saka sana may PayMaya option din 😊).
We are happy with our stay here. Got a family room, with a queen size and a single bed 👍🏼👍🏼 a well...
