Persona Mesa — Restaurant in Tagbilaran

Went there with my boyfriend on our monthsary, it was really great. The ambiance is really nice. It's not really a lavish restaurant but you have the luxury of peace and privacy of enjoying your food. The staff are very attentive and have warm smiles.. We ordered the back ribs and it was really delicious.. But for those who are creeped out with cemeteries, I don't think it's the place for you because its situated beside a private cemetery. But to be honest, it's not creepy outside since its in front of a highway and there's a 24 hour convenience...

One of the very few restaurants in the city that puts an effort in food presentation as much as it does in making the dishes flavorful. Everything in here is well-thought of. Its Southeast Asian-inspired ambience is relaxing. Its staff is attentive. Service may not be quick, but this must be due to the extra care and attention given to the dishes before they are served on the table. Unfortunately, the restaurant still uses plastic straws for its drinks. Thus, it clearly lags behind other environmentally-aware, eco-friendly establishments...

Nice decorum but don't expect their filipino food to surprise you in any way. Filipino food has always been disappointing for me. And the prices are way too high to justify a second meal in this restaurant. If you are a foreigner just choose another place to indulge your tastebuds. We ordered a blt sandwich, it was average for a price almost at 400 pesos. And a meal with pork shrimps and eggplants plus rice. The servings were supposed to be for 2.
