Arrived at the hotel at 03:15. I informed the receptionist I'd like to pay the extra 50zl for early checkin (this is what I normally pay during my previous visit). The receptionist was unable to find the rsvp due to an Expedia error. I told the receptionist that I'll rebook the room through Expedia, she replied she can do it for me and it'd be cheaper. The receptionist asked what night would I like to book and I informed her from the 10 - 12. The receptionist agreed and stated that she wouldn't charge me for the early checkin but she could only give me a key to turn on the room lights and that her colleague would let me into the room and that I would need to come back for a key at noon. I said okay gave her the 450 + zloty for the 10-12 and was escorted to the room. Later that morning I went out of the hotel for a few drinks and arrived back at 6/7 am would a bloody eye from a fall on the street. I attempted to get the staff to let me in my room but issues arised and some words was exchanged due to the concussion I had and a ptsd trigger. Finally someone took me to my room. The next day on the 11th someone called me and said it's past noon and you need to check out. I informed the lady I paid until the 12th and what the earlier receptionist agreed to, but she did not believe from the earlier confrontation that had taken place. At this point my clothes was at the dry cleaners, which they couldnt get back to me until the 12th and basically told me that I needed to pay to to stay from the 11-12, even though I paid already. Therefore, I rebooked the night through Expedia. Lesson learned: never book directly with the hotel. The hotel wanted revange so took it out on me by changing the terms...

I recently stayed at Q Hotel Plus Katowice and was thoroughly impressed by the wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable.
The reception team was warm and welcoming, providing a quick and seamless check-in. Throughout my visit, every staff member I encountered—from housekeeping to the restaurant team—was courteous, attentive, and genuinely eager to assist. Their professionalism and friendliness truly made me feel valued as a guest.
The hotel itself was clean, well-maintained, and beautifully designed. My room was spacious, with modern amenities and thoughtful touches that added to the comfort. The dining options were excellent, with delicious food and impeccable service, my kids were happy 😊
What stood out the most, however, was the exceptional level of hospitality. Whether it was a simple request or a special arrangement, the staff handled everything with a smile and efficiency. Their dedication to guest satisfaction is truly commendable.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic stay with outstanding service. I will definitely be returning!

My mother in law asked the clerk if she could take coffee from the coffee machine. the clerk said yes. as she made the coffee herself, the people attending this are of the hotel got visible mad at her, demanding she pay for the coffee. she refused and returned the coffee, without consuming it.
this kind of misunderstanding around the question whether the coffee is paid or not wasnt pleasant, but can be expected due to differences of cultural and language barriers.
what followed, when another clerk who replaced the first one, firmly insisted that the coffee is to be paid and that it was always said it will be paid, was just unbelievable. my mother in law had to talk to him for 5 minutes. than i had to talk to him for another 5 minutes. the guy was blowing so much wind... eventually he gave way and called his manager only for the matter to resolve in 20 seconds. the unconsumed coffee is not to be paid.
