Casas Serenas — Hotel in Calheta

This definitely is the most beautiful and most neat place I’ve ever been to, and both Sandrine and Emmanuel are the nicest, the most attentive and friendliest hosts I’ve ever met. Not only on arrival we were greeted with some lovely surprises but also during our stay we regularly received valuable advice where when and how to head to. We couldn’t have wished for more. The apartment and it’s interior is built with lots of love and with a great eye for detail, I’ve quite seen a lot but this exceeds any expectations one can ever have. Sitting on the beautiful terrace one has a gorgeous and amazing view to the sea, it’s so quiet and calm; in the back in the garden there’re numerous flowers and plants you “normally” only see in botanical gardens, there’re lots of birds around, lizards and sometimes cats briefly visit. We had a truly wonderful stay at Casas Serenas during our vacation in Madeira. The location is absolutely stunning – peaceful, surrounded by nature, and full of rustic charm. The garden has a magical atmosphere, perfect for relaxing and unwinding.

Thanks to the fresh air and deep silence, we slept 10–11 hours every night – something that rarely happens to us! It was the perfect environment to fully recharge.

Our host, Emmanuel, was amazing. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and felt completely at home. His kindness and attention to detail made our stay even more special.

Can there be anything better? For me no! This was a dream comig true🌟 Quiet location, plenty of sunshine all day, wifi working perfectly for remote work - on the terrace too, very comfortable, super clean, with a well equiped kitchen, great artsy details everywhere, hidden among a beautiful flower garden with palm trees for some shade Bird song, butterflies, blooms….all in all a peaceful paradise! And the view out to the sea is the cherry on top of the cake.
