Had a great time at the Madeira apartment and highly recommend it. A big plus was the flat, private parking and the terrace with a sun lounger and table, as well as the balcony with a beautiful view of the ocean. The apartment was fully equipped (including oven, washing machine, capsule coffee maker, electric radiator) for comfort and convenience. A nice welcome touch was a bottle of local wine and a honey cake. The kitchen had basic condiments, tea and capsule coffee. Great airbnb place in Madeira! You are close to the most important attractions, lots of parking space and the cottage has everything you need, like at home! It is clean and the bed is comfy. The view is the best and you also had a spacious terrace to enjoy it. The host is the best we had! He helped us with info about restaurants, bars and markets. We spent two weeks in Madeira exploring and hiking and feel like this location in Calheta is perfect. It is bright and sunny with a beautiful sunset view, away from the hustle and bustle of tourist and cruise ships in Funchal, 45 minutes from the North Shore Pools, 15-30 minutes from some of the best waterfall hikes, five minutes from the beach and grocery store, and the locals are so nice.
