Staff refused to give extra towels… So if you need an extra one (eg. for your hair or to dry your hands at the sink) then good riddance, you only get the two provided for showering and that‘s it… so either pick what body parts you want to dry or reuse a wet towel! Rooms are also dark and the look & feel is more akin to a coffee shop than a cozy bedroom… Also the choice of DRAWING a shelf instead of putting a real one up surely was something? Sad, considering the rooms themselves were actually very clean and smelled nice when we first entered. AC in the room worked well. Staff was a mixed bag; some were very kind and some kind of condescending. Overall, I think the price was not worth the service we got…

The shower tap is of a older type, and it changes violently the water temperature by itself which caught me off guard and got by back burned. Not enough towels on bathroom didn’t bother asking more as we arrived late and departed early. Towels were still dirty from previous guests and the whole bathroom had hairs from previous guests. The staff member that was at reception when we arrived was rather unkind and dismissive. Honestly very bad quality for the price, I have been in Ibis budget hotels far better than this Ibis. Don’t expect the “quality” of an Ibis on this hotel.

Very good breakfast starting at 4am (4am-6.30 small breakfast and 6.30am-12.00 regular breakfast, but when we came in at 5.30am there was full breakfast waiting for us). Plenty to choose from and good coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice as a bonus. The room is rather small but comfy and clean. Staff were nice and everything throughout the hotel is nicely decorated. Location is ok, but not very convenient if you do not have a car. If you have a car, there is a big parking lot in front of the hotel.

Hotel clean and modern decor some 8 minutes from airport. Parking good and reception staff efficient but little eye contact. As we were checked in online surprised they again requested at checkin. Hotel seemed moderately busy but in fact near full as we discovered next morning!||Room overlooking car park pleasant and comfortable BUT beware the shower pan floor is lethal with poor grip!||We had breakfast at around 0930. The buffet table was very impoverished with little food or crockery or cutlery! It had been really decimated by earlier guests! There was only one staff member servicing the area …..both restocking and cleaning tables! After commenting things improved slightly …..breakfast at the Ibis chain has always been its hallmark for us …..so disappointing||After breakfast on returning to our room the floor by reception was very wet with a leak from the ceiling area. It wasn’t obvious due light coloured floor and inadequately closed off as affected area had spread as nothing to catch dripping water. Sadly I had a pretty nasty fall landing heavily on my right hip and elbow resulting in a very bad cut to my lower arm! Staff came an offered help but this was an accident waiting to happen. Incident reported to manager who said immediate safety action...

The hotel itself is not bad. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is close to the airport so convenient to stay upon arrival or departure.

I had two issues with my stay.

  1. The food.

I ordered spaghetti carbonara at 10.50 euro. As soon as I heard the microwave start I knew it was not going to be great and I was right.

A typical microwave meal that would cost you about 2 euro at a supermarket.

Later, I asked if they where still serving food (as the small portion was not filling in the slightest), and the staff member went to the kitchen and presented me with a selection of microwave meals to choose from. I declined and went hungry.

  1. The room

The room itself is nicely presented, has a TV, comfortable bed and shower / toilet. However, the room I had (008) is on the bottom floor next to the lift and close to reception.

This means the room is not quiet or peaceful. With people coming and going all night you hear the lift opening and closing, people checking in and out, people at the bar, people on the floor above etc...

I got about 2 hours of broken sleep in total.

If the room was quieter and the food was better, i would of give a much...
