We had two rooms for two couples. The rooms are very spacious and the bathrooms almost as big. Very clean and comfortable. The owners speak Portuguese, and sadly we have very little Portuguese but with Google Translate this was not an issue. We had dinner and breakfast. Dinner was home cooked and served on the terrace but we felt it was very over priced compared with restaurants, and breakfast provided at €8 per person for buffet (no hot dishes) dearer than we have paid anywhere else. Parking is available but I am not sure if this could be a lottery. Location is good, with about a 20’ walk to the historic centre. Bottom line - a good place to stay but I r commend go elsewhere if you want reasonably...

Low budget accommodation. This place is renovated partially. Some materials shelfs and other visible details are from different decades. There is a mixed range of different styles on this place from true vintage to some modern details. The penthouse apartment was big enough for five and comes with a roof terrace. Kitchen there didn't have enough plates nor glasses for 5 people. Air condition worked well. There was a strange smell though on the top floor apartment. It was almost as the scent of electricity. The small garden is beautiful. Pool is not heated but did the job...

I booked a triple room on Booking.com for Euro120 for one night. Agreed to all terms and conditions and paid deposit etc. A week later i was told that rate is now Euro250 AND that there was a minimum stay of two nights so Euro500 for what is effectively a one night stay as i do not want to stay longer. Seems others have experienced. Such a pity that they completely destroy the usual friendly and honest reputation of the the Portuguese...
