On top of that thensituation was very poorly held by the staff. I've worked for a few years with some of the best Palaces in Paris and I found their attitude just scandalous.

No effort was made to attempt to makes amends for the hiccup that we had to bear.

On top of that when we arrived one of my colleagues room would not open and several times the staff had to go back and forth from the front desk to his room withndifferent tools instead of just changing him to a different room that actually worked.

Then he found out he had absolutely no hot water so it was not possible for him to take a shower that day.. not very good.

On another hand, the service staff in the restaurant the spa and the terrasse were very accommodating and kind!

For a 4 star hotel I...

Overall, it is a good, solid hotel. I enjoyed my stay. However, there are small things that leave a negative impression that can easily be fixed.

Let me start with the positive points:

The interior and exterior design were very pleasing. The artwork, furniture, and arrangements were all appealing. It's clear they invested well in the aesthetics of the space. The meals at the restaurant tasted great. Literally everything we ordered was delicious. The front desk staff were all friendly, polite, and helpful. The room was clean, with nothing to complain about. The indoor and outdoor pools were both nice and not too busy. Triple rooms are very convenient for small families.

Now for the negatives:

One of the outdoor chairs was broken when we checked in (see photos). There was a night table only on one side of the bed; no table on the other side, although there was enough space available for it. Some appliances looked worn, such as faucet handles and toilet flush handles. I called the front desk once and asked for an extra towel; they said okay but didn't bring it. I had to call them back to remind them, and even after that, it took them 20 minutes to bring it. The shower door was really heavy and didn't move smoothly, making it a...

● The rooms doesn't have enough electrical socket available (one on each corner of the room) each means your smart watch will be in the other side the room, your phone on other, your laptop on the desk and your other device like company phone, video game, table on the other...if you someone with you, sorry...not enough plugs for all (if your light switch doesn't turn off the plug you are lucky). ● Light switches are confusing, and you don't have a night light available in the room. ● Some rooms have small closets, by small I mean 3 shirts max. Good luck with yours. ● If you are not willing to pay for the water on the mini bar and you didn't bought any with you, feel free to use the water from the bathroom. Water on bottle in the room for free isn't available on this 4 stars hotel. ○ I suggest you to skip the 12€ breakfast in the hotel I go out, there some backeries outside with more variety for 3€. ● As other people mentioned, pool isn't for free.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Located in a quiet part of the city but still close enough to the city centre. The hotel is very clean and offers different facilities including an inside and outside swimming pool, spa and the possibilites to get welness massages. For breakfast they have a lot of sweet stuff as you can expect when being in Portugal. In the afternoon/evening you can also enjoy a lovely dinner in the restaurant. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
