Our travel agency sent card details as usual to any hotel and they tried charging our cards everyday instead of once at the very end.. very odd that.. bringing us up to the point where because of this they invalidated our cards. So the hotel staff found nothing better but to lock us out of our rooms and demanding we pay the entire stay on the spot even though it wasn't our last day..||On top of that thensituation was very poorly held by the staff. I've worked for a few years with some of the best Palaces in Paris and I found their attitude just scandalous.|No effort was made to attempt to makes amends for the hiccup that we had to bear.|On top of that when we arrived one of my colleagues room would not open and several times the staff had to go back and forth from the front desk to his room withndifferent tools instead of just changing him to a different room that actually worked.|Then he found out he had absolutely no hot water so it was not possible for him to take a shower that day.. not very good.|On another hand, the service staff in the restaurant the spa and the terrasse were very accommodating and kind!|For a 4 star hotel I...

Read moreOverall, it is a good, solid hotel. I enjoyed my stay. However, there are small things that leave a negative impression that can easily be fixed.
Let me start with the positive points:
The interior and exterior design were very pleasing. The artwork, furniture, and arrangements were all appealing. It's clear they invested well in the aesthetics of the space. The meals at the restaurant tasted great. Literally everything we ordered was delicious. The front desk staff were all friendly, polite, and helpful. The room was clean, with nothing to complain about. The indoor and outdoor pools were both nice and not too busy. Triple rooms are very convenient for small families.
Now for the negatives:
One of the outdoor chairs was broken when we checked in (see photos). There was a night table only on one side of the bed; no table on the other side, although there was enough space available for it. Some appliances looked worn, such as faucet handles and toilet flush handles. I called the front desk once and asked for an extra towel; they said okay but didn't bring it.
