We booked the campsite for 3 nights for our camping car online for 2 adults and a dog. We thought it was a bit expensive per night but liked the care place for dogs closeby which we were hoping to use during our day visit to the city. And to be honest it's the only campsite close by if you've come especially to visit Lisbon. We arrived a night early which reception accommodated so we stayed 4 nights instead of 3. I had read other reviews on the noise of the music during the evening from the stage/restaurant which doesn't belong to the campsite. I honestly didn't think it would be that bad. However every night the music was turned up full volume and our pitch was literally there 2 pitches away from the stage backing onto the campsite☹I would suggest anyone making a booking to ask for a pitch as far away as possible if you value your sleep🥱And yes there were other unoccupied pitches when we walked around.😏Closest shower block was old and run down with broken tiles in the shower and could do with a update but the toilets were clean. I looked at one of the other blocks which looked more modern but unfortunately for me l couldn't use it as it was being cleaned🤷‍♀️The restaurant looked nice and it was lovely to sit outside and have a drink but it was expensive si we didn't eat there. The shop was very small and didn't have a huge range of products so make sure you're stocked up before you get to the campsite. There is nowhere else in walking distance to buy anything nearby. And now to the things we did enjoy. The campsite is huge with lots of different areas for campers to walk with their children or dogs without going outside the boundaries. The swimming pool area looked inviting and clean but we didn't use it as we didn't want to leave our dog on her own. We did visit the center of Lisbon and the bus stop is literally opposite the doggy daycare center. For us this place was a bonus. Bruno and his staff are really caring and made sure that our dog was looked after and happy. They even sent us a video showing Harmony playing so that we wouldn't be worried. The place may look small and crowded with all the cages but the dogs are well taken care of with group or individual walks for the dogs🐕 Lisbon city is beautiful and there's plenty to see. The Time market is definitely worth going to if you like the crowded food court idea. It is as expensive as the restaurants but the atmosphere is fantastic. We would recommend walking along the waterside where there are more stalls for food and drinks. Please don't miss out on the tour of the city in the beautiful and colorful tuc tucs.

I think it's a pretty good place to go camping, but just if you are not going only with a tent. Don't get me wrong, the place it's cool, and it's in pretty good condition. But the zone for the tents... Not so much. In some areas the grass it's pretty high, and then, there's the problem that you are next to a road. Also, keep in mind that some areas of the camping are rented to others. So for example, next to were we based our tent, there was a party until 10:30pm. And then in the morning, they were blasting some music at 9am. So I'd recommend you to take some ear plugs with you or you are going to have some trouble sleeping. About the restrooms, in general they are good. Pretty much all of them are really clean, and you have your own space to shower (with worm water) and change. But there is a big difference in quality between the zone destined for the campers and the motorhomes. So if you get the chance, go the motorhomes restrooms, you'll find it more pleasant. The camp is so big you have spaces for everything. There are two pools, couple footfall fields, minigolf, parks for kids to play, two tennis courts, and lots of other things to see. But because they rent couple of spaces to other companies, you're not really sure if you can use all those things. They also have a restaurant inside and a minimarket. But if you have time, go to a supermarket that is 10 minutes away, you'll be saving some money, because the prices are a bit high. But to be honest, for that price if you are going with a car and a tent, I think it's better to look for a place in the middle of Lisbon. You'll be surprised for what you can find for the kind of money you are going to be spending by camping there.

OK, so the positives. Decent pitch sizes with water, electric & grey waste on each pitch. Plenty of toilets & showers, all clean with great pressure & hot water in the showers. Restaurant smelt and looked lovely altho we didn't eat there, supermarket, laundry and excellent security plus bus stop direct to the centre 200m from the entrance, all great plus points. The negative was the overall look of the place and the service by the staff that worked there. Graffiti in the toilet blocks, hooks missing some of the showers plus door handles missing on some of the ladies shower cubicles. The grass wasn't just a bit over grown, it hadn't been done for months, giving the impression that it was getting ready for closing for the season. The reception is dated with a sign saying "wait in silence" I felt like I was waiting to get a bollocking from the headmaster rather than checking in for my stay. The young girl behind the counter was disinterested in any form of interaction while I was checking in, it was like applying for a loan!! Similarly the young lad in the bar area served us without a welcome, a smile or anything else for that matter. As its really the only option near the capital, they have you by the goullies and at 44€ euros for 1 night, it was one of the most expensive places we've ever been on out of season. All in all it has the potential to be a wonderful site, I should know, I ran one in the UK, but they simply seem to be resting on their laurals sadly. A smile, welcome and a bit of general maintenance is desperately needed here.

One of the most expensive campgrounds in Portugal, but not apropriate to the offering! And it does not seem that they are investing for improvement or reform - during the last two years nothing has changed and it is very old and nagged. We have been to many campsites and can say that this is one of the most unloving managed and worse equiped.

We came there (again) just because of the excellent location close to the city in the middle of shady woods. And the bus connection to the urban centre. But that is the only good thing about this place.

The service is miserable. The facilities are very old, daily cleaned up, but very stinky! No special place for small children and babies. When we asked for a place close to one facility building - because of our little son - they where not willing to help us and did not offer a better place. They just told us, they cannot say where there is an available place and we have to look around by ourselfes, if we find one. But that was a lie! When I came for the third time (with my baby on my arm the whole time), they just recognized, that I was serious and then they could see the availability in their system!! What a poor service!

And then, just by hearing another tourist asking for a simple and cheap pitch, I noticed, that there are also open places at the campsite available - and those are way more affordable!!! As I already had payed everything, I was not allowed in changing this after!!! So in general, when you arrive there as a campervan (even the most simple and modest one) you are sent to the pitches, even when you say that you do not need electricity. But this campground is just interested in making money and is taking advantage of its great location close to the capitals centre. So they are not open and transparent to offer those cheap places - or at least telling you the options, you have. You always get the huge standard pitches with electricity and own water. So let me recommend you, if you are travelling low-budged and modestly, like we do: Always ask there for the campsite places without pitch-numbers and without electricity!! You can save a lot money!! I was very disapointed about the secrecy of this (at least for us) important information!!!

The Wifi-area is very small - just 50m around the restaurant. Poor for a campground of this size in a capital city!!

There is just one small playground (another is in the map, but not there - and even the service staff at the reception does not know that!!). And this only playground was closed for one day becouse of an herbicide!!! So I think I wont let my children crawl there and touch the ground!!!!

Hopefully someone of the management will read this and will be thankful about this critical points to improve the campground for a better future to welcome more...
